Everything We Know About Hailey Baldwin's Bridesmaids

Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin are pros at keeping us on our toes. In September 2018, People reported that the 24-year-old singer and 21-year-old model secretly exchanged vows in a New York City courthouse. TMZ also captured pictures of the two entering the judicial building. Additionally, Baldwin later changed her instagram handle to @haileybieber while Bieber referred to her as his "wife" in an Instagram post so, you know, it's pretty official.

Although the two may very well be legally married, there will still be a wedding celebration. Baldwin confirmed to The Cut in fall 2018 that she'd chosen a designer for her gown and secured a wedding planner to take care of the details. According to TMZ though, the Beiber-Baldwin wedding has already been postponed three times. Nevertheless, we do have some insight as to who will be a part of the big day when it finally occurs. Here's everything we know about Hailey's bridesmaids.

Baldwin's big sister

When Baldwin's aunt Kim Basinger spoke with Us Weekly about the upcoming wedding, she certainly sounded like she was looking forward to it. "Oh, it'll be fun," she told the magazine. "So believe me, I just — it's cool! I think it's sweet. It's a very sweet thing. Happiness... We're living in some really dire times right now," Basinger explained. In addition to expressing her feelings about the big day, Baldwin's aunt also confirmed that her niece's sister, Alaia Baldwin, would be "in the wedding."

Nearly two months later, Baldwin herself confirmed in an interview with The Cut that her old sister would be in the wedding as a bridesmaid. "I was hers last year," she explained to the publication. As it turns out, Baldwin was actually her big sis' maid of honor. Does this mean Alaia Baldwin will be the maid of honor in her sibling's wedding? We shall see.

Her "lonely girl" cousin

In July 2018, Basinger spilled the tea about another member of her niece's bridal party: cousin Ireland Baldwin. The two young women are just a year apart and are friends in addition to being family. Ireland has also been publicly supportive about her cuz's relationship with Bieber.

Ireland took to Instagram in summer 2018 to congratulate her cousin and soon-to-be cousin-in-law. "There's gunna be one less lonely girl ... and only one lonely girl left ... my other chicken is soon to be a beautiful bride ... congratulations to the two of you," she wrote in a play off of Justin Bieber's hit song "One Less Lonely Girl." In January 2019, Ireland also told People that her cousin and Bieber are "perfect for each other because they're like the same person." Ireland has not confirmed her place in the wedding party, but she did verify that she would indeed be "going to the wedding."

Fellow model Gigi Hadid

Thanks to Uncle Billy, we also know that some non-family members will be a part of Baldwin and Bieber's wedding celebration. In an interview with Etalk (via StyleCaster), Billy Baldwin confirmed that Gigi Hadid would be one of the ones "tearing up the dance floor."

Even though Hailey Baldwin confirmed that she was friends with Hadid in an interview with People (via Elle) in 2016, she claimed she didn't "hang out that often" with Hadid and Kendall Jenner. "We're all friends. We all have the same job, but we aren't together that often, especially as a trio," she explained. Since then, though, Hadid and Baldwin have openly become much closer.

Just a few months later, Jenner revealed to Allure that she, Cara Delevingne, Hadid, and Baldwin call themselves the "Super Natural Friend Group," which she admits sounds "really lame." So, yes, we'd say Hadid and Baldwin — along with Delevingne and Jenner — are indeed pals.

Bestie Kendall Jenner

Although Baldwin is close with all the members of her "friend group," she's especially close with Kendall Jenner. As you may have guessed, this means Jenner will also be a part of the big day — Baldwin's uncle confirmed as much. When asked her thoughts on Bieber and Baldwin's engagement on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Jenner revealed, "I've been friends with both of them for a very long time. So everybody's happy, and that makes me happy."

The two models have actually been best friends for quite some time. In 2015, she and Jenner got matching heart tattoos and, in June 2016, they solidified their friendship with tattoos once again. In a photo shared by their tattoo artist, Jenner can be seen with the letters "PR" tattooed on the pointer finger of her left hand while Baldwin has "AY" on the pointer finger of her right hand — spelling out "PRAY" when pressed together. Besties who ink together, stay together, right?

"And all the rest"

When Billy Baldwin divulged which of his niece's best buds would be sharing in her special day, he didn't just specify individual people. He told ETalk (via StyleCaster) that "Gigi [Hadid] and Kendall [Jenner] and all the rest" would be participating in the wedding. Hmm. So, who exactly would that include?

You could speculate that, since Cara Delevingne is a member of the "Super Natural Friend Group," she'd be one of the ones "tearing up the dance floor," as Mr. Baldwin put it. Could Bella Hadid also be a part the Bieber-Baldwin bash? Although she hasn't exactly been inducted into the "friend group," the two do hang out. In April 2018, the two models were photographed lounging by a pool in Miami and soaking up some sun on a yacht.

Bella Hadid and Delevingne have not confirmed being "the rest" of the wedding party, nor did Uncle Billy clarify, so, as of this writing, there's no telling for sure.

Is Kylie Jenner in the wedding?

Billy Baldwin gave one final nugget of information about who would be in his niece's wedding. "It's going to be Hailey and all of her Kardashian girlfriends," he told Etalk (via StyleCaster). While he immediately listed off Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner's names, neither one is a Kardashian. Though, the Jenners are Kardashian-ish. And since Baldwin is closest — in both friendship and age — to the Jenner women, you could reason that Kylie Jenner is the other "Kardashian" in the wedding.

HoweverTMZ reported in January 2019 that Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott received a "Save the Date" email. That doesn't mean that Kylie can't also be in the wedding party, but, when you take into consideration that the two aren't as close as they once were, Kylie being a bridesmaid seems more unlikely. Also, Kendall revealed to Elle that she "stole Hailey from Kylie" — something that angered her sister. Kendall admitted that they've since made peace, but are they wedding-party close? Time will only tell.
