Richard Gere Reportedly Expecting His Third Child At 70
News recently broke that actor Richard Gere and his wife Alejandra Silva are expecting their second child together. Though Gere, 70, and Silva, 36, only welcomed their first son, Alexander, earlier this year, HOLA! Magazine reports that Silva is currently three months pregnant. Neither one of the happy duo have confirmed or denied the rumor but it's widely speculated that Silva will make the announcement on her personal Instagram account in the coming weeks.
According to People magazine, Gere and Silva have known each other for over a decade. They started dating in 2014 before secretly tying the knot in an intimate ceremony in April 2018. A source told the publication that Gere and Silva are "extraordinarily happy" together, mentioning, "They're so comfortable with each other, have fun together and are looking forward to their future together."

Sharing their wedding photos with HELLO! Magazine at the time, Silva gushed, "I feel like I'm in a true fairytale. Without a doubt, I feel like the luckiest woman in the world." Describing her new husband, she continued, "He is the most humble, sensitive, affectionate, attentive, funny, generous man that I've ever met." And the Pretty Woman star seems to feel the same way. "I'm the happiest man in the universe. How could I not be? I'm married to a beautiful woman who is smart, sensitive, committed to helping people, who's fun, patient, who knows how to forgive, who's a great cook – and who makes the best salads in the world!"
Both Gere and Silva have children from previous marriages. The Spanish activist shares 6-year-old Albert with her ex-husband Govind Friedland, while Gere has a 19-year-old son, Homer, from his 11-year marriage to Carey Lowell.
