What Jessica Szohr Has Been Doing Since Gossip Girl Ended

With news of a Gossip Girl reboot, we can't help but reminisce about the original CW show and remember some of our favorite characters like Vanessa Abrams, who was played by actress Jessica Szohr. When she wasn't climbing through her best friend Dan's window in Brooklyn, Vanessa was either caught up in one of Blair's mischievous plans or getting her heart broken by Dan and Nate.

Speaking to Bustle in March 2019, Szohr shared her theory about where Vanessa would be now, admitting, "I feel like [Vanessa] probably did come back from Barcelona and traveling — doing work and documentaries — and I feel like she's definitely still in that space, but probably back in New York."

But what about Szohr herself? What has she been up to since Gossip Girl ended?

Since leaving Gossip Girl, Szohr has focused on her acting career

Since leaving Gossip Girl, Szohr has been busy keeping her acting career alive, starring in popular TV series, including CSI,  Shameless, and The Orville. She's also played roles in movies such as Two Night Stand with Miles Teller, The Internship alongside Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson, and Ted 2 with Mark Wahlberg, among others (via IMDb).

When she's not working, Szohr has kept her personal life private. She told Bustle that she remains good friends with Chace Crawford, who played Gossip Girl heartthrob Nate Archibald, and admitted to Hollywood Life in February that she has a boyfriend. According to Access Insider, the mystery man is reportedly Brad Richardson, a Canadian ice hockey player who plays professionally for the Arizona Coyotes. Though neither Szohr or Richardson have publicly confirmed the relationship, Richardson has been spotted on Szohr's Instagram stories numerous times. "I like my privacy," Szohr explained to Hollywood Life. "And I'll share certain things, but I don't need everyone to know who I'm dating the whole time."
