Amanda Bynes has been flying under the radar for quite some time. Her last acting credit, per IMDb, was in 2010's Easy A. Things went downhill for Bynes after 2010. She quit acting and found she had no direction. "I got really into my drug usage and it became a really dark, sad world for me," she told Paper in 2018, saying she spent most of her days "stuck at home, getting high, watching TV, and tweeting."
While Bynes claimed at the time of the interview that she had been sober for four years, it seems that she relapsed. In March 2019, People reported that she had checked into rehab two months earlier.
Now, Bynes is back in the public eye and engaged. An unverified Instagram account claiming to be run by Bynes posted a picture of what appears to be Bynes' hand sporting a massive diamond ring. The hand is entwined with another hand which is sporting a gold band on its ring finger. The caption of the now-deleted post read, "Engaged to tha love of my life."

E! News confirmed the engagement, as well as the name of Bynes' fiancé: Paul Michael. We don't know very much about him, although a source told the outlet that the couple met while Bynes was in rehab. They have reportedly been together for two to three months.
Sources told The Blast that Michael is in his 20s and that the couple met at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting. He is reportedly still in school and has connections to the Hollywood TV industry.
As Bynes is currently under a conservatorship, she may not be able to get married for a while without permission from her family. The Blast previously reported Bynes' mother is legally in charge of her daughter's health and has to sign off on any major decisions such as getting married.
