This Is How Much Money Jill Duggar Is Really Worth

The second daughter of the Duggar clan, Jill Dillard, is an incredibly busy woman. And while we know that she is now happily living life with hubby Derick and their kids, estimating her net worth is somewhat tricky. Over the years, the 19 Kids and Counting breakout has earned money via various different means, with several personal estimates floating out there in cyberspace for her.

All things considered, however, with 19 Kids, spin-off Jill and Jessa: Counting On, and standalone doc Breaking the Silence under her belt — as well as a popular book — the somewhat infamous Duggar daughter is doing just fine.

Jill Duggar has done well off the back of her reality show success

Celebrity Net Worth puts the Duggar family at $3.5 million total, but naturally Jill isn't seeing a huge amount of that, especially amid the reported feud between husband Derick and her parents. According to E! News, TLC pays its reality stars anything from $25,000 to $75,000 per episode. Reality producer Terrence Michael explained that about 10 percent of a show's budget per episode is allocated to stars like the Duggars, so they stand to make $25,000 for an episode budgeted at $250,000, for example. Shooting usually takes about a week, so it's not bad money overall. Obviously, it depends on how many episodes each season has, but it's reasonable to assume Jill made a decent amount from her reality TV work.

Likewise, she and her sister, Jessa, co-authored a book, Growing Up Duggar, along with Jinger and Jana, the profits from which contribute massively to her net earnings. The Net Worth puts Jill's personal net worth at around the $400,000 mark, a figure corroborated by Cheat Sheet, while most recently Wealthy Persons suggests it's closer to $1 million. Back in November 2019, a fan replied to a now-deleted Instagram post wondering why Jill and Derick left the show that made their names. "It just all got to be too much for our little family, so we decided to step away from it all a couple years ago before the birth of our second child," the busy mother explained simply.
