However, within months of being back in the real world, their relationship reportedly fell apart, with Kristian announcing that they had decided to part ways on her Instagram. Alongside an image of the former couple, Kristian wrote, "With a heavy heart full of love for one another we have decided it is best for us to take a step back from our relationship. We will forever be proud of the impact our love story has made and we hope it has helped others feel more accepted and confident within themselves." While there was little explanation for the reason behind their breakup, Kristian seems to have moved on quickly.

Black shared a similar photo of the two, this time kissing, and writing, "When I was 13 I wanted you to be my Valentine, but I was closeted and too scared to ask you — So, I asked your cousin Luke to be my Valentine instead. Here we are at 27, and I finally made you mine. You were worth the wait, you little s***."
Four days later, Kristian confirmed that the two were indeed an item to Us Weekly. "She's amazing and I'm so happy and thankful," the reality TV star gushed. Since then, both women have shared various images of themselves to their social media profiles, looking happy and totally in love.
