The Cast Of Little Women: Atlanta React To The Death Of Ashley 'Minnie' Ross

Fans and castmates of Little Women: Atlanta are devastated following the announcement that Ashley "Minnie" Ross has passed away. Her management confirmed her death to People on April 28. Minnie was seriously injured in a car accident on April 26 after the vehicle she was in collided with another. She passed away from her injuries the following evening.

"It is with profound sadness that we confirm on behalf of the family of Ashley Ross aka 'Ms Minnie' of Little Women: Atlanta has succumbed to injuries from a tragic hit and run car accident today at the age of 34," said her management in a statement. "The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time."

A representative for Little Women: Atlanta also gave a statement to People. "She was the most beautiful, kind, giving, generous human ever," they said. "She was adored by cast and crew because she always wore her heart on her sleeve. There's nothing she wouldn't do for those she loved."

The cast of Little Women: Atlanta is devastated by Minnie's death, especially twins Amanda and Andrea. "As I'm writing this I'm in tears I can't believe it my Minnie !!!!" wrote Amanda in the caption of an Instagram photo of Minnie and the twins at Amanda's 2019 wedding, in which Minnie was a bridesmaid (per People). "Why did they take you away from us !!!! WHY!!!!! It always seems like we have all the time in the world, only to realize how fleeting it really is. I wish we had more time to do and say the things we saved for later which along with you is gone forever. I promise to keep you alive in my memories and be there for your mama... and your aunt..." 

She continued, "You were more than our best friend you were our big sister and still is !!! I still can't believe this man why man why!!!! I love you so much !!!! My heart is broken. Rest In Peace my love."

Amanda's twin, Andrea Salinas, similarly opened up on Instagram about the heartbreaking loss. "Minnie why did you have to leave us so soon !!.??" she wrote. "You were such a great friend / mama bear to us since the day we meet in LA To film the pilot shoot for the show omg i can't believe this!! We are going to MISS YOU may you Rest In Peace my Minnie."

Other Little Women cast members opened up about the death of Ashley 'Minnie' Ross

Little Women: LA's Terra Jolé also expressed her heartbreak at the loss on Instagram. "There are no words to describe the turn of events these past few days," she captioned a picture of herself with Minnie. "I'm deeply saddened that [Minnie] is no longer with us but happy she now walks with angels. Minnie always spoke with her whole heart, listened with every word, and guided like the unspoken mama she is. You will be missed hard. Prayers to you and your family, your mom especially."

Monie Cashette also paid tribute to Minnie on Instagram, writing, "I still can't believe I'm saying RIP... We may have not always seen eye to eye but we still was there for each other when it mattered the most. Love you girl."

Tributes from Minnie's co-stars continued to pour in after the news of her death was announced. "This is all too much" wrote co-star Ms. Juicy in an Instagram image with the caption "Prayers for Minnie's family!!!"

Bri Barlup also took to Instagram to express her feelings over Minnie's death. "Damn I can't believe I'm waking up to this, I'm so lost for words, My heart goes out to her family," she wrote. "RIP Minnie." 

And co-star Tanya Scott expressed her disbelief in another Instagram post. "Wow. I'm lost for words at the news of [Minnie]." she wrote. "Last time I saw her she seemed so at peace with her life. I'm in shock! I'm so damn sorry this happened to her. Smh I can't even sleep now. Hold the people you love close y'all."

Little Women: Atlanta star Ashley 'Minnie' Ross leaves behind a loving family

Minnie's castmates and the fans of Little Women: Atlanta are not the only ones who are left mourning the tragic and untimely loss of the reality star. Newsweek reported that Minnie is survived by her mother, Tammie Jackson, who raised Minnie as a single mother. She also leaves behind her aunt and uncle, Veronica and John Deloney, her grandmother, Rose Deloney, and many other family members.

"Ashley was a sweet and kind person with a big heart," her publicist told the outlet. "She was an advocate for St Jude and young women. She will be remembered for her contagious smile."
