The Untold Truth Of RHOBH's Sutton Stracke

Sutton Stracke joined season 10 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as a friend of Lisa Rinna. The boutique owner, who originally hails from Georgia, has already started drama for seemingly dissing Dorit Kemsley for wearing Rihanna's Fenty line and calling Teddi Mellencamp boring.

While Stracke's relationship with Rinna is solid, making friends with the other Housewives was a longer process. "Kyle [Richards] and I clicked pretty early on and we chat all the time and text," Stracke told People. "She's a very down to earth person." Stracke also admitted her relationships with Kemsley and Mellencamp "was a slow one" because they didn't have a lot of one-on-one time.

About her fellow RHOBH newcomer, Stracke said, "Even Garcelle [Beauvais] and I were kind of separate from one another at first and we've gotten to know each other much better over the past six months."

Things will hopefully turn around with the boutique owner as the show progresses.

Stracke was supposed to be a full-time RHOBH castmate

Bravo previously announced that Stracke was a new full-time castmate along with Beauvais, but when the cast photo was released she wasn't included (via Access). Eagle-eyed fans also noticed a photo she posted to Instagram in March had the same backdrop as the one from the cast photoshoot shared by Richards on social media.

When Stracke was introduced during the RHOBH season premiere as a friend of Rinna, many fans were confused. "I think when you sign on to be a Housewife, it really is your whole life that you're giving up to the audience and so, I wasn't able to do that," she told Access regarding her role on the show. "I wasn't able to film with my children. And so, they're a big part of my life, so that was it."

Stracke and her ex-husband Christian got divorced in 2017 after having three children, Porter, Philip, and James (via Bravo). Her children are all minors and Stracke's comments may hint that her ex didn't sign a release form to have them shown. She is currently dating real estate agent Michael Mahoney (via Women's Health).

Stracke had a dream of being a ballet dancer

Stracke currently owns and manages the boutique Sutton. However, before she ventured to Beverly Hills, she had a dream of becoming a professional ballet dancer. She was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia and later moved to New York City in her twenties to pursue a dancing career. Her initial plans changed and she became the Director of Development at Cunningham Dance Foundation in New York City as well as the Executive Director of the Augusta Ballet in Georgia. She currently sits on several boards for ballet companies in New York, Los Angeles, and Augusta.

Now, the socialite spends her days curating pieces for her boutique in West Hollywood, which carries furniture, art, and clothing. "It's not just fashion, it's not just art, it's not just jewelry, it's everything," she told Bravo in an exclusive tour of her boutique.
