Do Jill Duggar And Derick Dillard Want More Kids?

Two things can happen if you come from a big family. You'd either want to have plenty of children so your offspring get to have a similar or identical experience as you did, or you'd want to go in a completely new direction — which is to have as few children as possible.

We don't exactly know what direction Derick Dillard and Jill Duggar will take, particularly since Derick decided to address the idea of social distancing on Twitter by saying: "I'm gonna go out on a limb and just say that this widespread social isolation isn't just going to help protect against the #coronavirus but it's also going to lead to a baby boom in December!" When a fan asked whether he and Jill might be expecting, he only responded with "We'll see ;).

But there are signs that the Dillards may be happy to keep their family of four just the way it is now. On a recent appearance on the podcast First Class Fatherhood, Derick said he wasn't sure one way or the other because his brood was just enjoying life (via In Touch Weekly).

The Dillards think their boys are a handful

Derick, who is 31 and Jill, who is 28, haven't really hidden the fact that they think two boys are a handful. Late last year, Jill confessed on Instagram that she might have been feeling overwhelmed caring for her sons Israel (who just turned 5) and Samuel, who is 2. In her post, Jill says: "Y'all ... This is me frustrated ... [My son] is screaming at me because he wants a game. I just told them to go lay down or go outside until mommy can cool down and handle this situation. This is life with just two kids" (via In Touch Weekly).

In case you're wondering how the Dillards feel about birth control, Derick is happy to clarify. "We never said we don't believe in birth control. My parents waited 11 years to start having kids, and there's nothing wrong with that. Each Christian family should follow God's leading for their own family, regarding when and how many kids to have," Derick told a fan (via In Touch Weekly). So do Derick and Jill want more children? Signs point to no... at least not yet.
