"It was something I can't describe to anyone who hasn't experienced it firsthand but luckily you did too.. I've never felt so unconditionally loved by someone in my life (other than my parents) flaws and all. You never pressure me to be anything other than myself. And you make me want to be the best version of myself. I'm honored to accept your hand in marriage. I love you more than a caption could express but I'm ecstatic to start a family and life with you. I love you forever my baby. My partner. Here's to our future!!!!"

As sweet as the photos and the caption are, it's hard not to be distracted by the massive rock Lovato is sporting in the romantic images.

This is how much Demi Lovato's engagement ring could be worth

According to Page Six, the stunning, emerald-cut sparkler Ehrich presented Lovato with was designed by Peter Marco. Ira Weissman of The Diamond Pro estimated that the ring is approximately 5-carats and is worth upwards of $250,000. "With a stunning helicopter pad of an emerald-cut center diamond and the classic pairing with trapezoid side stones, Demi's ring looks to make it to the hall of fame of celebrity engagement rings," he told the outlet.

Another expert, Shannon Delany-Ron, who is the director of communications for JamesAllen.com, believes the engagement ring is closer to 7 carats and valued it as high as $300,000. Delany-Ron added that Lovato's three-stone ring also "hold[s] a symbolic meaning" as such rings "represent the past, present, and future of a relationship.

However much the ring is worth, far more important is what it signifies. Ehrich and Lovato appear delighted to be engaged. "Words cannot express how infinitely in love with you I am forever and always and then some," Ehrich wrote in his own Instagram post. "I cannot spend another second of my time here on Earth without the miracle of having you as my wife."
