Here's Why Fans Think Jessa Duggar Is Secretly Pregnant
Is Jessa Duggar having another baby? While she hasn't announced that she is pregnant, many fans of the Counting On star think that she is, indeed, expecting. The speculation came about after Jessa's dad, Jim Bob, made what may or may not have been a joke at a birthday party for Jessa's daughter, Ivy.
Jessa uploaded a video to YouTube of Ivy celebrating her first birthday with a smash cake. "This will tell us if it's a boy or a girl," said Jim Bob as Ivy reached for the cake.
While Jim Bob was joking about the smash cake doubling as a gender reveal cake — the dessert turned out to be yellow — some people think that he was serious about there being a boy or a girl on the way. Viewers of the video took to the comments and Reddit with their suspicions that Jessa is expecting another baby.
Is another Duggar baby on the way?
Jessa and her husband, Ben Seewald, have two other children besides Ivy: Spurgeon and Henry. Jessa hasn't confirmed a pregnancy, although we do know that the couple have discussed having a fourth child. Ben recently told Us Weekly that they are considering adoption. "We could wait until all of our kids are grown and gone and then adopt, but I also think it's kind of cool to have an adopted child growing up with the other kids," he said. "We're just in a stage of, like, meeting with people who have adopted and getting advice, hearing their stories and seeing what that might look like for us."
As for Jessa, she did admit that she's ready for another kid and that she has "baby fever." She added, "We're not sure if our next baby will be adopted or not, but that's something that has weighed heavily on our hearts since before we were married."
For now, we'll just have to wait and see if a fourth baby is on the way for Jessa Duggar.
