Asuelu's Sister Takes A Huge Shot At Kalani In The 90 Day Fiancé Tell-All

'Tis the season for schadenfreude: While there may be enough real-life chaos in 2020 to last several lifetimes, there's something oddly comforting about watching someone else's drama unfold when it has absolutely nothing to do with you. To this end, the latest tell-all from 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? does not disappoint if you're looking for a break from the never-ending news cycle about COVID-19, the election, or (sniff) the end of Halloween as we know it.

In particular, the uber-distracting showdown between Asuelu's sister Tammy and a growing number of people on the show revealed a nondiscriminatory policy on Tammy's part (via Heavy), as she had no qualms threatening to assault everyone from sister-in-law Kalani, to Kalani's sister, Kolini, to Colt's elderly mother, Debbie. Even an irate, flexing Angela let Tammy know, "If I was your mother I'd beat your ass." It took Tammy's actual mother, Lesina, stepping in to finally calm things down, but not without Tammy interjecting her thoughts on Kalani's future with Asuelu: "If he doesn't help our family back home, then it's up to him if he wants to get a divorce or separate and figure it out, because at the end of the day, he needs to help our family back home."

Here's what Asuelu's mother said to Kalani

In an effort to restore the peace after she and Tammy offended Kalani, Lesina, Asuelu's mother, offered a heartfelt apology. "I love my son, and I apologize for what I'm saying," she said (via Entertainment Tonight). "I don't want Asuelu to lose his sons and his wife and their beautiful family with Kalani's mom and dad." And, like Kalani, Lesina was upset with her son for not taking the pandemic seriously.

"I told him everything, how to live with his wife, taking care of the kids," Lesina revealed. "Stop going to the volleyball. Stop going to the dancing. Stop going everywhere. Please stay home. Take care of your wife and the kids. Because now you are here in America. You're not a boy. You're a big man now. So you better focus for your family, especially your kids."

Asked by host Shaun Robinson if she would accept Lesina's apology, Kalani continued eating her popcorn, taking it all in stride: "Yeah, I always accept his mom's apologies," she says. "I'm fine to have a relationship with her. Let's leave it at that."
