The Classy Response John Cena Had To The Birth Of Nikki Bella's Baby
If you kept up with the reality show Total Bellas, you'll remember the tumultuous relationship between pro-wrestlers, Nikki Bella and John Cena. The pair went back and forth about getting married, having children and ultimately ended up breaking up because of it. After their 11-month engagement, the two wouldn't even speak about one another, Page Six reports. But, it appears that the ice may be thawing after all.
Nikki Bella recently revealed that she spoke with her ex following the birth of her child, saying that Cena reached out to both her and her twin sister, Brie, who had given birth to her son the day before, Us Weekly notes. "So with the baby, he reached out to Brie and I both," Nikki told the outlet. "We haven't had an individual conversation in gosh, I don't know how long, but it was very short and sweet!"
After six years together and an 11-month engagement, the pair seem to be in a better place after their 2018 split (via Page Six).
Nikki Bella is now engaged to Artem Chigvinstev
After moving on from Cena, the retired WWE diva started dating Artem Chigvinsetv, who you might recognize from Dancing with the Stars, while her ex tied the knot with Shay Shariatzadeh earlier this year, Us Weekly notes.
"John and I will be tied forever. I get that, like, we had a public relationship on a reality show for six years," Bella told Us Weekly. "All I've ever wanted was for him to be happy. So, it makes me happy when I see that and, like, him kicking butt in the movie world and all that stuff. I love that!"
The 36-year old former wrestler also shared that she's been struggling with the transition to motherhood while her fiancé is away filming Dancing with the Stars. After giving birth to son, Mateo, in July, Bella revealed that her sister was the one who told her fiancé about her mental state. "I think most women do [that] when they get depressed because they are embarrassed by it," Brie Bella said. "Also, because you're prideful and I was like, you got to let it all go. You have to communicate with him because then he can help you."
With her new baby and fiancé, Nikki Bella seems to have moved on to a new chapter in her life.
