Megyn Kelly Just Pulled Her Children Out Of School. Here's Why

Conservative journalist Megyn Kelly is never one to shy away from voicing her opinion, and she took to her podcast to talk about how she's more than ready to leave New York City. Kelly's already taken her kids out of their Upper West Side private school because it was, as she puts it, too "woke." She said, "After years of resisting it, we're going to leave."

The bridge too far for Kelly at the school her sons went to was when a blog post / letter apparently started making the rounds amongst parents. "[The schools] have always been far-left, which doesn't align with my own ideology, but I didn't really care, most of my friends are liberals, it's fine. I come from a Democrat family, I'm not offended at all by the ideology, and I lean center-left on some things. But they've gone around the bend... I mean, they have gone off the deep end," Kelly said.

Kelly asked "Which boy in my kid's school is the future killer cop?"

Kelly said that the offending document first showed up at the school in the parents diversity group, and that then the school wanted to make sure the whole school read it. It was an article written by Nahliah Webber, the Executive Director of the Orleans Public Education Network, after the death of George Floyd titled "If You Really Want to Make a Difference in Black Lives, Change How You Teach White Kids."

The article overall goes into the disparities in the education system between white children and black children. Kelly read aloud a quote from the essay on the podcast, "There is a killer cop sitting in every school where white children learn... As black bodies drop like flies around us by violence at white hands, how can we in any of our minds conclude that whites are all right?"

Kelly was pretty upset by the thought and asked, "Which boy in my kid's school is the future killer cop? Is it my boy? Which boy is it? Because I don't happen to believe that they're in there."
