Austin Butler who? Vanessa Hudgens seems to be getting cozy with her new beau following her break up from Austin Butler after dating for nine years. The 31-year-old actress left little to the imagination following her Instagram post that read, "Date night" with her holding a pink rose in front of her face. But, People notes, while she's alone in the photo, she was seen later that evening with professional baseball player Cole Tucker.
Photos of the two have surfaced before, including snaps of the pair hugging in Los Angeles. The 24-year-old plays for the Pittsburgh Pirates and is originally a native of Phoenix, Arizona, according to the outlet. Apparently, Tucker's long-term plans may have something to do with the new pairing. E! Online found a tweet from the MLB pro's twitter dating back to 2012 that reads, "In search of: A girl who's down to watch High School Musical with me and scratch my back."
It appears that Hudgens is reciprocating his excitement, as a source told the publication that, "They shared wine and food and had a great two-hour meal, Vanessa was giddy with laughter. She was looking over at Cole and couldn't contain her smile."

Hudgens' relationship with Butler seemed to be a thing of fairy tales, following nearly a decade together, but sources say they drifted apart. "The breakup isn't easy, but she's not one to sit around and mope. She's living it up and having fun. She seems really happy and excited about life, honestly."
Following her break up with Butler, Hudgens seemed to play the field. E! Online reports that she was briefly linked to NBA star, Kyle Kuzma, after the two were seen grabbing dinner and she attended a few of his games. As her courtship with Kuzma proved to be her first newly-single dalliance, the pair took it slow and likely eventually fizzled out. Nearly 11 months on, Hudgens appears to be excited about her new beau. But, without an official Instagram debut, only time will tell how serious the pair is.
