RHOP Star Karen Huger's Dramatic Walkout Is Raising Eyebrows
If you've kept up with The Real Housewives of Potomac, you'll know that the Grand Dame, Karen Huger, keeps up with the tea. In last night's episode, after the drama that ensued between Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard following their physical altercation, Karen seemed to be caught in the crossfire. After the cast's trip to Portugal, the ladies returned to more drama.
At this point in the season, we know that Candiace has sued Monique for assault following their fight, with Monique countersuing, and Karen's reluctance to choose a side has Candiace upset. According to People, the ladies then came together to celebrate the Karen's new wig line. Karen's apparent lack of transparency about whether or not Monique was invited to the event seemed to stir the pot — especially for Candiace. Co-star Ashley Darby said that Karen had told the rest of the group that she hadn't invited Monique, when, in fact, she had.
At the time of the event, Monique came and left before the rest of the group arrived following an awkward nudge from Karen. When Candiace came to the event, the group confronted Karen and things went south.
After receiving a gag gift from Ashley, Karen left her own party
Things only got worse after Ashley "gifted" Karen with Pepcid following her decision not to drink on their trip due to an ulcer. When Monique told Ashley that Karen had drank at her son's birthday party, she decided to bring up the subject, People notes. When Ashley started to question Karen's motives about her friendship with Monique, Karen looked for the exit — from her own party."We have guests here. I'm going to ask you to be respectful. So I'm going to get ready and enjoy the rest of my evening. And thank you all for coming. Okay? Thank you," she said to the group. In her confessional, Karen explained that her embarrassment was the reason for her exit.
This isn't the first time that Potomac's matriarch has found herself in hot water. Earlier this season, Karen found out that RHOP newbie Dr. Wendy Osefo had been gossiping about her. Karen quickly retaliated by calling her ignorant about their castmates' fight and saying that her degrees don't make her a medical doctor, E! Online reports.
