Big Brother Stars Memphis And Christmas Just Gave A Major Life Update

One month after Big Brother: All-Stars just crowned its season 22 champion, two of its past contestants, Christmas Abbott and Memphis Garrett, have announced some news: they're officially a couple! On Tuesday, Abbott (who got her start on season 19 of the series) and Garrett (who was a contestant on season 10) both revealed the news by posting photos to their personal Instagram accounts, sharing sweet photos of the two of them cozying up and smiling happily. "Love is not found, it's built. @memphisgarrett," Abbott captioned the adorable selfie. In addition, Abbott posted a cute selfie of the two to her Instagram story with "Something to Talk About" by Bonnie Rait playing.

Garrett also confirmed the news to his Instagram page, posting the same selfie of the two and writing, "Sometime[s] people come into your life and you know they just belong. We tried to fight it but fate had its own plan. Excited for the future."

Christmas and Memphis didn't expect to fall in love

Abbott opened up to E! News on Tuesday, revealing more intimate details about their new relationship and how they fell into it. "I really didn't think that it would happen for me," Abbott told the outlet. "I wasn't looking for a relationship, I was there to win. It's so wild to have this experience because we reverse engineered how society promotes falling in love. Memphis and I got to know one another through real conversations, building trust with each other and not starting with a physical connection. That's a rare thing!"

"Never in my mind would I ever think I would find love thanks to the Big Brother house, but sometimes fate has other plans," Garrett added.

The two also shared what traits they love and appreciate about each other. "My favorite trait about Memphis is that he understands and knows exactly who I am," Abbott said. "He sees me and appreciates me for me and not who he thinks I should be, or who I have been in the past. He feels like my home. I also love his wild, unapologetic self. He is who he is."

Garrett added, "The list could go on for days, but her contagious smile, unapologetic laugh and authenticity are just a few traits I love."
