Netflix Is Breaking Our Hearts In January

As hard as it is to believe, we're more than halfway through December and January will soon be upon us. As the new year arrives it's out with the old and in with the new, and Netflix is going to be replacing some of our favorite shows and films with new arrivals.

If you aren't sure what to binge-watch over your holiday break, a good place to start might be with the titles that will soon be leaving the streaming platform. Get ready, because there are some classics that will be painful to say goodbye to.

According to a press release from Netflix, the first couple of weeks of January will only see a few titles removed from the platform, but there are going to be some big losses including all four seasons of The Tudors on January 7 and Mary Poppins Returns on January 8. Things really ramp up in the second half of the month.

Dozens of titles are leaving Netflix in January

In the second half of January, more than a dozen titles will be leaving Netflix. Some of the tiles leaving the platform include Dallas Buyers Club on January 15, the first five seasons of When Calls the Heart on January 24, Swiss Army Man on January 29, The Hundred-Foot Journey on January 30, and Mr. Deeds on January 31.

The other titles leaving Netflix in January are as follows: Bloodsport, Braxton Family Values: Seasons 1-2, Death at a Funeral, Employee of the Month, Fireplace 4K: Classic Crackling Fireplace from Fireplace for Your Home, Fireplace 4K: Crackling Birchwood from Fireplace for Your Home, Fireplace for Your Home: Season, For Colored Girls, Friday Night Tykes: Seasons 1-4, Haven, Malicious, Mara, The Master, Pineapple Express, QB1: Beyond the Lights: Season 2, A Serious Man, A Thin Line Between Love & Hate, Waco: Limited Series, and We Are Your Friends.
