Pink's 2020 Ends With An Injury

This year has not been amazing for most people, to understate the toll 2020 took on almost everyone on Earth. Of course, stars have also been impacted — Pink is among those who wouldn't exactly call this year among her favorite. In fact, she recently took to Instagram to fill her fans in on just how awful her 2020 has been, writing, "As if surviving covid wasn't enough for this poop sandwich of a year!" According to People, Pink and her son Jameson both battled COVID-19 in April. Many regular people and celebrities alike have dealt with this virus in 2020. But it turns out Pink's illness is just one of the very many physical challenges the singer has encountered this year.

"Well, I got my stitches out from drying that wine glass, that went well," the entertainer updated her followers about recent difficult events. But that wasn't even it! "Then I recovered from my very first staph infection for no reason (cry for help?) (right knee was lonely?)," she continued. And no, Pink wasn't done going through her laundry list of ailments.

Pink went on to share, "so I thought I'd fracture my ankle!"

Luckily Pink still has a sense of humor despite her challenging year

So, Pink had COVID-19, as did her son, who she said was very sick, plus she cut herself on a wine glass, got an infection, and broke her ankle. These events would be enough to drive anyone to the edge, but in typical Pink fashion, the mom of two still had the ability to make some jokes at her own expense.

"Later tonight I'm gonna climb inside a raw chicken and see if I can't check out what salmonella's like!" she quipped in her post, adding, "2020 is the gift that keeps on giving." Pink then went on to share more about how her latest injury took place, writing, "I was actually running down the stairs trying to see the Christmas star! Ha! Turns out it's not until the 21st. Happy holidays everyone! Who wants a Negroni!"

We're raising our hands over here! Meanwhile, here's hoping Pink's year gets better from here — or that 2021 has better things in store for her and well, for everyone!
