Teresa Giudice's Castmates Weigh In On Her New Relationship
Teresa Giudice has endured a difficult, often complicated love life in spite of being married for a long time. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star split from her husband of 20 years, Joe Giudice, in December 2019, per Us Weekly, following lengthy prison stints for both parties and persistent cheating rumors. Teresa initially promised to stand by her husband no matter what, but later stated that a long-distance marriage wasn't in the cards — so when Joe was deported to his home country of Italy for good, she called it quits. And by September 2020, the Giudices' divorce was finalized, according to Page Six.
In spite of everything Teresa's been through, the reality star and author proved that she hadn't given up on finding happiness again after it was confirmed that she'd begun casually seeing Luis "Louie" Ruela, a fellow NJ native, businessman, and single father of two. "The relationship is very new, but both are very happy," an insider told Page Six in November. Luckily, Teresa and Joe's daughters – Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana Giudice — were reportedly on board with their mom's new relationship. "Her daughters miss their dad, [but] they all think it's great that their mom is happy," a source told In Touch.
By later December 2020, the RHONJ breakout star was making things Instagram official with her new man — and her castmates couldn't wait to share their thoughts.

Teresa Giudice proudly went Instagram official with her new man, Luis "Louis" Ruelas, with a sweet snapshot of the couple snuggling up together. "The BEST thing that came out of 2020," she wrote alongside it. Aww. And soon enough, her RHONJ co-stars flocked to the comments section to share their well wishes. Jennifer Aydin gushed, "So happy for you," alongside a smiley-face emoticon. This sentiment was echoed by Dina Manzo (who also happens to be Teresa's daughter Audriana's godmother), who wrote, "So so Happy for you." Likewise, Margaret Josephs commented, "You deserve all the happiness and love."
Meanwhile, fellow Bravo stars from adjacent Real Housewives franchises also chimed in to celebrate the good news. The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Phaedra Parks simply responded with a string of fire and heart-eyes emojis, while her former co-star, Cynthia Bailey, opted simply for hearts. Kelly Dodd of The Real Housewives of Orange County commented, "I'm so happy for you Tre!!" Even the Summer House kids got in on the action, with Hannah Berner writing, "HOLY HOTNESS," in response to the new coupling.
For his part, Teresa's ex-husband is also involved with somebody new. After revealing on The Wendy Williams Show in October 2020 that he was "seeing" and "hanging out a lot" with an unnamed lawyer, per Reality Tea, Joe Giudice opened up about Teresa dating. "What's she going to do, stay alone forever?" he told E!. "That's not fair, as well." Indeed.
