Who Is Sean McVay's Fiancee, Veronika Khomyn?
The LA Rams are the home team in tinsel town, and it seems only fitting that the head coach, Sean McVay, and his fiance, Veronika Khomyn, look like they'd fit in as comfortably on a red carpet as they do in a football stadium. For the dashing couple, their love story actually started nearly 3,000 miles away, just outside the nation's capital.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, while McVay was working as the assistant tight ends coach for the Washington Football Team back in 2010, he met the Ukranian born Khomyn while she was a student just over the river at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. The couple must have fallen fast for each other because they've been officially linked since 2011.
In 2017, at just 30 years old, McVay took on the head coaching position for the LA Rams and the couple made the move to the West Coast together. Not surprisingly, they quickly fell in love with life in sunny Southern California, and as reported by the New York Post, Khomyn even admitted to a fan in a recent Instagram Live, "I'd let him coach wherever he wanted to coach, but we love LA and the Rams."

In his second season as head coach for the Rams, Sean McVay brought the team all the way to the Super Bowl. During their playoff run against the New Orleans Saints, fans fell head-over-heels for Veronika Khomyn after she famously posted a clip of herself on Instagram rocking a T-shirt with McVay's face on it, and under his visage, the adorable nickname, "McBae." The shirt and the mojo certainly brought the team luck even though they couldn't secure the Super Bowl championship from the New England Patriots.
Through thick and thin, however, Khomyn stood by McVay and helped him get over the loss, and just four months later, the now 30-year-old model announced on social media that he had popped the question while vacationing in Italy. The New York Post further reported that during her Instagram Live, the soon-to-be Mrs. McVay revealed that, with the help of a wedding planner, the couple is organizing a destination wedding, although a date and location has not yet been revealed. There's certainly no rush for the happy couple who have been together now for over nine years. Happily in love, Khomyn gushed of her fiance on Instagram, "The best love is the kind that awakens your soul; that makes us reach for more."
There's no denying that Khomyn will be cheering on "McBae" and the Rams this Saturday as they face off against Green Bay in the NFC divisional round.
