Kate And William Offer A Peek Inside Their Home Office At The Queen's Estate

Lockdown orders and COVID restrictions have even impacted the royals' work schedule, and the Cambridge Instagram recently gave us a glimpse into their new WFH set up. During their video calls, the couple often showcases photos of their children and family members in the background, and they recently delivered even more!

According to People, the Queen has recently lent her Sandringham house to the parents-of-three throughout quarantine and homeschooling. The home is a few miles away from the couple's country house, Anmer Hall, and the extra space gives them room to work while their children attend school virtually. A recent video on their Instagram featured a special message for the hospital staff at NHS Tayside in which the two royals thank them for their dedication and wish them well on Burns Night.

The video shows William and Kate sitting in front of a desk with multiple framed photos on top, the outlet notes. These photos include images of Princess Charlotte and Prince George on their first day of school, Kate with their youngest child, Louis, and an image of Prince William smiling outside a car window. People notes that the Cambridges have showcased their photos before during video calls, but now we can see their set up at the Queen's home.

The Cambridges recently welcomed a new addition to the family

In addition to adjusting to yet another lockdown, homeschooling and a longer stay in the countryside, the royal couple have also welcomed a new addition to their home: a black cocker spaniel puppy. Following the death of their beloved dog, Lupo, it appears that the Cambridges are ready to go through the puppy training days again, InStyle reports.

A friend of the couple told the Daily Mail that, "The new puppy is adorable and the whole family are besotted... They were devastated when Lupo passed away. It was hoped that a younger dog would give Lupo some company and give him a little more life and energy."

The Cambridges apparently got the puppy from Duchess Kate's brother James, who recently shared a snap of his dog's puppies, saying they were born in May. The puppies' mother was Lupo's sister, so their new pup has close relations with their late pet, InStyle notes. Following their beloved Lupo's death, the pair shared their grief on Instagram, saying, "Very sadly last weekend our dear dog, Lupo, passed away. He has been at the heart of our family for the past nine years and we will miss him so much. – W & C."

As for the name of their new puppy, we have yet to hear any news. But, with so many connections to Lupo, we have a feeling this puppy already holds a special place in their hearts.
