The Heartbreaking Death Of Taylor Dee
The up-and-coming country music singer Taylor Dee has died at the young age of 33. The singer from Dallas was pronounced dead at a Texas hospital on March 14 after succumbing to injuries she sustained during a car accident (via Just Jared). Officials said Dee had been driving on a highway when she missed her exit by a "split-second," causing her to collide with a barrier, according to Euless Police Chief Mike Brown. Because she had not been wearing a seatbelt, Dee was ejected from the car when the collision occurred, causing severe injuries.
"Taylor Dee was the real deal — a true talent with a heart and passion not only for her music but for people," Linda Wilson, president of the Texas Country Music Association, said in reverence to the Texas Newsroom. "In every performance, her talent was evident, but more importantly she allowed her fans to know her heart. She will be missed tremendously." Dee was also a mother of two young children.
