Here's How You Could Actually Stay At The Welcome To Plathville House

Imagine growing up on a remote farm in Georgia with minimal electronics and strict rules. That's the reality of the Plath family, the stars of TLC's Welcome To Plathville. The show follows the Plaths, a Christian Fundamentalist family of eleven as they live on their farm and make music together in the family band (per YouTube).

You can experience the seclusion and serenity of the Plath family farm for a price. It seems matriarch Kim Plath occasionally rents the Cairo, Georgia home out on Airbnb. In the second season, the family moved to a different home in Cairo after the oldest four children moved out (per TV Show Ace).

You can stay at either the farm house or a cabin on the property. "Nestled on a private and quiet fifty acre farm Large field is perfect for frisbee, soccer etc," the farm's description reads.

"Volleyball net, swings, hiking trails. You have the house all to yourself. There is a caretaker on the property. There's a wood stove you can use in the winter that makes the house super cozy, or you're welcome to use the central heat."

Visitors say Kim is a wonderful hostess

The three bedroom, two bathroom farm home sleeps nine people altogether across seven beds. On average, a stay at the farm costs $125 per night (per Airbnb). The cabin, which is listed separately, is a one bedroom, one bathroom getaway. The lakeside cabin sleeps no more than five people with a full-size sleeper sofa, a queen sized bed, and two twin mattresses. It costs an average of $85 per night.

It appears visitors are fans of Kim's form of hospitality. The Plath family matriarch is rated as a Superhost on the popular rental site. "Kim was not only responsive, but goes above and beyond during every minute of your stay, and gets back to you immediately when communicating," one visitor raved. "We will definitely be coming back for another farm visit one day soon, and appreciate the charming southern hospitality."

"Kim is an amazing host. She answered all my text messages very quickly," another commenter wrote. "My car's battery was flat and she came with the jumping cables very promptly. Her cabin was a great place for our family."
