Few couples have been as gawked at and talked about as mush as Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik, and it's no wonder. The pairing of supermodel Hadid (according to Fashionista, she's been on over 30 international Vogue covers!) and the brooding, tattooed former One Direction member Malik is the stuff Hollywood dreams are made of. From their first hints of coupledom in 2015 to their multiple very public breakups and reconciliations to their current state of domestic bliss (and parenthood!), it sometimes seems as if they're living out a glamorous real-life soap opera just for our enjoyment.

Seriously, though, it's got to be rough for them knowing their love life and most personal feelings about each other are always under a public microscope. But their epic wealth and showbiz connections give them plenty of creature comforts to cushion the blow of bad days and make good days even better. Zayn Malik sold three of his luxury homes by 2020, but don't worry about him being homeless. Instead, he's decided to unplug and immerse himself in the pleasures of country living. According to Billboard, he now spends most of his time on his remaining property — a sprawling working farm in rural Pennsylvania. "[The farm] is just out of the way and feels grounded," he told Billboard. "There's not a lot of things around. I do a lot of farm work." He noted, "I take the horses out and feed the cows and that kind of stuff. It's cool. I've always been interested in animals." There's also a recording studio close by for the days when he needs to get back to work.

His choice of location for his farm is no coincidence — it's just a stone's throw away from the equally sumptuous farm owned by Gigi Hadid's mom, former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Hadid. It was Yolanda's suggestion, he told GQ, that he buy property in the area. And it's on the farm where Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid will raised their daughter, as the model told Vogue.

No one can accuse Gigi Hadid of being a shrinking violet. One look at her exuberantly colorful New York apartment will confirm that she loves making a big statement — and will spend the time and money it takes to get the look she wants. Her $5.8 million townhouse is one of two she owns in the same building, and she eventually plans to combine them, according to the New York Post.

"Spent all of last year designing and curating my passion project / dream spot," Hadid shared in an Instagram post. "I'm excited for the time I'll get to spend enjoying all the special corners." So what's in all these special corners? A bright orange-and-gray Missoni couch, glass cabinet fronts filled with dyed dried pasta, throw pillows by Jean Paul Gaultier, and a glam room with a bright gold carpet. 

All these decorative touches are pricey (a Missoni couch can go for $25,000) — and controversial. Hadid has gotten some flack for her decorating choices, according to Harper's Bazaar. But a woman's home is her castle and, in this case, an unapologetically unique and quirky one.

We all knew Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik's baby daughter, Khai, would be living in style — but we had no idea how much style she'd get to enjoy just a few weeks after being born. On her Instagram Stories, according to InStyle, Hadid shared photos of some of the amazing swag sent to both her and her little one by celebrity friends and design houses she's worked with. Some of these goodies included hand-painted jeans and baby tees by Los Angeles designer Juliet Johnstone (whose products go for up to $500); pacifiers, books, and pajamas from "Uncle" Jimmy Fallon; and pajamas for Hadid and baby clothes from Lanvin. Their gifts also included a gold bracelet featuring a diamond and a sapphire, representing her and her daughter's respective birthstones.

In a gracious thank you note posted on her Stories, Hadid suggested this was just a fraction of the awesome loot the family has received. "I am overwhelmed with how many beautiful things this little one has already been spoiled with by people I love — and I will slowly probably share them," she wrote. "BUT thank you cards are on their way."

Gigi Hadid spared no expense putting together the perfect nursery for her daughter, Khai — and it's a far cry from the usual fluffy pink and white decorating scheme we'd expect for a very pampered little girl. In a series of Instagram photos taken shortly before Khai was born, Hadid shared several photos of the spacious nursery. It's a space bigger than most  living rooms in warm earth tones with a distinctive tropical boho vibe — lots of rattan, teak, and fringed pillows.

But don't let the casual, rustic look deceive you — none of the lovingly curated items in the space came cheap. According to the Daily Mail, the hand-carved Anthropologie dresser sells for $1,598, the rattan daybed sells for $998, and the teak crib by Sacred Bundle (we all have teak baby cribs in our kids' rooms, right?) goes for $1,249. Even the throw pillows covering the daybed were a bit of a splurge — well over $2,000 worth, each priced between $88 and $390.

For Gigi Hadid, appearing in Vogue is almost routine, and readers have come to expect her face on the cover. But her photo spreads in Vogue with her beau Zayn Malik are another matter — they get people talking. Their first Vogue spread together — shot in Naples, Italy — debuted in April 2016, when their relationship was still only being whispered about. Putting two attractive people together in a glitzy photo shoot wouldn't normally raise eyebrows, but as USA Today noted, the obvious chemistry between them and the fact they had their hands all over each other erased any doubt that they were an item.

Their second Vogue shoot, however, triggered another kind of debate. In an essay and photo spread on gender fluidity and fashion, Hadid and Malik appeared together in complementary ensembles — such as an exuberantly flowered Gucci track suit for Malik and a red track suit by Marc Jacobs for Hadid. Their clothes weren't an issue, but queer activists took umbrage at an obviously straight couple being celebrated as representatives of gender fluidity, according to PopSugar. Vogue later apologized and promised to "[continue] the conversation with greater sensitivity." 

No need to wonder how Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik manage to pay for their luxury homes and enormous designer wardrobes — they're definitely not hurting for cash. Hadid grew up wealthy. After her parents' divorce when she was 8, her father, a successful real estate developer known for working with high-end properties, paid her mother a settlement that included $30,000 a month in child support, a $6 million Malibu home, and a Santa Barbara mansion, according to Celebrity Net Worth. Today, Hadid is more than able to sustain her childhood lifestyle. Her net worth is $29 million, much of it from contracts with Versace, Maybelline, BMW, and other brands.

Malik, in contrast, grew up in a working-class family, according to BBC News, and he experienced his share of cruelty and racism from ignorant schoolmates, according to Celebrity Net Worth. But he got the last laugh. Thanks to the success of One Direction and now his solo career, he has a net worth of $75 million. Still, he hasn't forgotten where he comes from — he's active in multiple charities, including the British Asian Trust.
