90 Day Fiancé: Why Brandon Refuses To Move To Las Vegas With Julia

The Season 6 premiere of "90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?" aired on April 25, and fans of the long-running franchise tuned in to watch their favorite couples continue their relationships on the small screen, including some of the couples from the most recent season of "90 Day Fiancé," like Mike and Natalie and Brandon and Julia.

Viewers were first introduced to Brandon and Julia on Season 8 of "90 Day Fiancé," and it's no secret that the couple — who moved in with Brandon's parents on their farm in Virginia after Brandon went into debt with his and Julia's long-distance relationship (via In Touch Weekly) — had some serious qualms with their living situation throughout the season. Aside from being forced to sleep in separate rooms while under his parent's roof, Brandon's mom also tried to get Julia on birth control, which caused more tension in the house.

On a trip to Las Vegas without Brandon's parents, Julia expressed her desire to move across the country and away from their farm in Virginia

During a vacation in Sin City, Julia is enamored by the big city, and tells Brandon that she basically wants to move there ASAP. Even though Brandon jokes with her about looking at a house nearby the next day, he lays down some cold, hard truth to his Russian-born fiancé after she already sets her heart on moving across the country, telling her, "This isn't real life" (via TV Insider). He goes on to explain that they simply cannot afford to move at the moment and wants her to be patient, as the whole reason they're staying with his parents is so that they can save up to move out eventually. Julia, however, tells him that she's ready to move out on her own.

Fans had mixed feelings about Julia's desire to move to Vegas, with one Twitter user writing, "Julia, Brandon, are we sure Vegas is the place to go when you're strapped for cash as it is and just now moving on to an opportunity to make more?" While another Twitter user wrote, "Julia does have to get grip of reality. You cannot spend his new salary even before he got it, and it takes money to get your own place. As long as she is not bringing money in she has to settle."
