Cancer Celebrities Whose Personalities Make So Much Sense

Born between June 21 and July 22, Cancers are represented by the crab and have a myriad of both good and bad personality traits. The crab perfectly represents a Cancer's identity — where crabs are both of the land and the sea, Cancers are both extremely emotional yet hardened and tough to get to know at times (via Allure). They're sensible and spiritual, and they can read a room like no other sign, down to its energy. Ultimately, Cancers need time to lower their walls around people, but you have to know to never underestimate a Cancer's intuition and sensibilities — especially if you want to marry one.

Because Cancers feel their emotions on much deeper levels than other signs, it makes sense that a lot of actors, singers, and other celebrities would fit into this sign. In fact, Allure noted that the Cancer sign is ruled by the moon, the celestial body that governs emotions. For example, if your moon sign in your astrological chart is in Capricorn, you're likely to handle your emotions as a Capricorn would — logically, emotionless, and level-headed. Because the moon governs Cancer, their emotions are going to be deeper regardless of which planet their moon sign is in. So does it surprise you to learn then that celebrities like Ariana Grande and Lana Del Rey are Cancers? Yeah we didn't think it would.

These celebrities are all Cancers

Knowing the common personality traits of Cancers is important because it helps us understand Cancer celebrities better. Insider noted that Cancer celebrities include Ariana Grande, Elon Musk, Khloé Kardashian, Post Malone, Kevin Hart, Milo Ventimiglia, Lana Del Rey, and Sofía Vergara. Other notable Cancers include Meryl Streep, Mindy Kaling, Solange Knowles, Jaden Smith, Sandra Oh, and Selena Gomez (via Oprah Daily).

This list of celebrities couldn't make any more sense. Cancers are vulnerable people, and we can see that in the performances of these actors and musicians. Del Rey, Smith, and Grande, for example, are all vulnerable both personally and in their music. Likewise, actors such as Ventimiglia, Streep, and Oh are incredibly powerful in their performances on the screen. They can make you laugh, cry, and smile all in the same movie or television episode, and this comes from their innate understanding of emotion.

These celebrities may struggle to portray emotion in their personal lives or simply take a long time to open up to others, but we can see from this list that Cancers have no problem expressing their emotions in art.
