This Is Sofia Carson's Surprising Celebrity Crush
Sofia Carson is an actress and singer, known for roles in "Austin & Ally," "Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists," "Elena of Avalor," "A Cinderella Story: If the Shoe Fits," "Songbird," and the "Descendants" franchise, to name a few, (via IMDb).
The star moved to Los Angeles when she was 18 years old, and a year and a half later, she booked her spot on "Descendants." Carson told the Miami Herald that, since she was three years old, she knew she wanted to be in the spotlight, recalling, "I couldn't picture myself doing anything else."
In 2019, she even told Cosmopolitan that her work came before her romantic life, saying "I'm dating my career." However, that doesn't mean that she can't have a celebrity crush, right? Like most people on the planet, there is a special someone in Hollywood who the actress is attracted her. Lucky for her loyal fans, Carson shared this secret with Coveteur in 2017.
Sofia is not afraid to confess her feelings to her crush
Sofia Carson spoke with Coveteur about hosting for "The Oscars: All Access" on ABC. She said she watched all the films that were nominated repeatedly and made a detailed plan about what she would say. "I am so beyond excited, as an actress and as a fan — a huge fan of all the people who are going to be there," she admitted. "I'm going to be completely star-struck and just in awe of everyone."
In particular, she noted that she would have been extra star-struck if she'd ran into her celebrity crush: Andrew Garfield, who known for his roles in films such as "The Social Network," "The Amazing Spider-Man," and "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," (via IMDb).
"If I meet him, I'm definitely going to tell him that and break the ice that way. We'll see how he reacts," Carson confessed. "It's going to be so awkward it's going to be amazing. I feel like how many times will I be at the Oscars, on the red carpet, interviewing nominees? So I'm just going to be honest and just tell him. Otherwise, if it was a different setting, I would definitely never tell him."
