Does Lala Kent Want More Kids?
Reality star Lala Kent gave birth to her first child, daughter Ocean Kent Emmett, with producer husband Randall Emmett in March 2021. The blonde bombshell first entered our television screens in 2015 when she appeared on hit Bravo series "Vanderpump Rules" and has since gone on to star in films such as "The Row" and "American Traitor: The Trial of Axis Sally" (via IMDb.) Kent began dating Emmett while Season 4 of "Vanderpump Rules" was airing.
"I was like, OK, I'm going to let my guard down," Kent said of her relationship. "Whatever's happening, I like it, you know? He makes me laugh. Give it a try" (via Cosmopolitan.) But as Emmett was in the middle of a divorce with "You" star Ambyr Childers (via E! Online) and Kent was filming Season 5 of the series, the two were forced to keep their relationship a secret. "That will go down as one of the toughest times in my entire life. I was just so madly in love with this person, and it was so different from anyone I had ever dated before."
Three years later, Emmett and Kent got engaged and though they've had their share of momentary break-ups (via Cheat Sheet) the power couple appears to be stronger than ever. Kent told Us Magazine she's still trying to "get my bounce back bod on" post-pregnancy, but there may be more babies coming in the future.
Lala Kent has plans for one more baby
In a 2021 interview with Us Magazine, Kent revealed that she definitely wants more babies and it appears Emmett is also on board. "I thought I was gonna have to fight so hard to get baby No. 2," Kent stated. "Randall two days ago was like, 'I think I'm ready to start trying again.'" While she wants to take time to focus on getting her pre-pregnancy body back and raising first child Ocean, Kent is aware that her biological "clock is ticking."
She also doesn't want Emmett, who is 20 years her senior, to be "90 years old walking into [their] son or daughter's high school graduation." A valid concern! So how many more children does Kent plan to have? "One more after this. Yeah, I think we'll be good after that," Kent revealed to TooFab. The Utah native seems to be adjusting well to motherhood, revealing on former Bravo star Teddi Mellencamp's podcast, Teddi Tea Pod, that "My life is forever changed, forever better for them."
Kent is set to return for Season 9 of "Vanderpump Rules" and we're excited to see how the new mom balances family, work and of course, the drama. Hopefully baby Ocean even makes cameo!
