A Look Inside Giada De Laurentiis' Relationship With Her Boyfriend

Food Network star Giada De Laurentiis is currently in a committed relationship with Shane Farley, but when did their relationship begin?

After the celebrity chef split from her former husband, designer Todd Thompson, in 2014, De Laurentiis reconnected with Shane Farley in 2015 after previously meeting the also-divorced talk show producer in 2013 on the set of a project with Bobby Flay that never actually came into fruition.

Although the couple was tight-lipped in the beginning of their romance, she ultimately opened up about their relationship during a February 2018 interview with People, telling the outlet that her boyfriend made her feel "like a kid again."

"Shane's a lot of fun. He's very spontaneous and loves to laugh," De Laurentiis gushed. "It's one of my favorite things about our relationship." And her guy is equally smitten. "Giada is one of the most positive people I have ever met," says Farley, 45, a TV producer. "She's warm and absolutely beautiful — what you see on the outside is there on the inside as well."

Two year later, De Laurentiis confirmed that the ninth season of her Food Network show, "Giada at Home," revealing that the episodes were filmed at her California home with Farley.

Giada is open to getting married...again

Also in 2020, Giana De Laurentiis opened up about what it had been like quarantining with Farley and her daughter, 13-year-old Jade Marie.

"We've been spending every second of every day together, and well, that's never happened for me because I've always been traveling and working," De Laurentiis said during a separate interview with People in October 2020. "I think it's made us stronger. Truly. I think that's what happens sometimes in these things. You either become stronger or you start to say like, 'Ah, I can't do this.' So it's been fun."

Dating for nearly six years, fans of De Laurentiis are wondering if De Laurentiis will say "I do" for a second time. And, according to one recent interview, the longtime television star and chef isn't ruling out the possibility of getting married again. "I'm never going to say never," she told Us Weekly when asked her about her and Farley's future.
