Chrishell Stause Is Making A Surprise Return To This TV Show

Chrishell Stause is returning to her soap opera roots. The actress is well known for portraying dramatic characters on soaps. She's previously brought to life characters such as Amanda Dillion Martin on "All My Children" and Bethany Bryant on "The Young and The Restless" (via Soaps.com). Fans have watched her bring her A-game as she pushed through dramatic scenes that featured both highs and lows during her work on daytime television. She's even been nominated for a Daytime Emmy for her work (via Soap Central).

Stause's career on soaps also led her to love (via Us Weekly). In the past, she worked with Justin Hartley's ex-wife, Lindsay Hartley, on "All My Children," which eventually swayed her into Justin's path. However, Chrishell and Justin didn't begin dating until years later. They tied the knot in 2017, but sadly couldn't make things work. They ended their marriage in 2019. The divorce played out on Chrishell's reality tv series "Selling Sunset." However, Chrishell is ready to get back into the soap opera game, and she's returning to reprise her fan-favorite role on "Days of Our Lives."

Jordan Ridgeway returns from the dead?

Chrishell Stause delighted "Days of Our Lives" fans when portrayed Jordan Ridgeway, a sweet girl who came to Salem with some shocking secrets and a torrid past. Jordan immediately fell hard for local police officer Rafe Hernandez, but the two cut their romance short when Jordan opted to leave town. She later returned with a shocking storyline that showcased her acting range. Jordan returned in the middle of a mental breakdown and attempted to kill her brother's girlfriend. However, she was shockingly murdered by the father of her own child, Evan Frears (via Soaps In Depth).

While it's commonplace for soap opera characters to return from the dead, her latest stint on "DOOL" has fans talking. Stause is scheduled to appear on just two episodes. Perhaps her character will be revealed to be alive, or maybe she'll appear to her brother, Ben Weston, in a vision. No matter the situation, Stause says she's happy to reunite with her soap opera family. "I really love the cast and crew over at 'Days of our Lives' and any time I getting to pop in is always so much fun!" Stause told EW. "My favorite thing about daytime, and 'Days' in particular, is that the door is always open for characters to reappear no matter how they left. In Jordan's case, death by strangulation has not kept her away," the actress joked. Despite the reason for the return, fans will be thrilled to see Jordan back in Salem later this month.
