Gwen Stefani Reveals How She Really Feels After One Month Of Marriage To Blake Shelton
One month after tying the knot with longtime boyfriend Blake Shelton, singer-songwriter Gwen Stefani has opened up about married life so far, revealing on the "Tell Me About It with Jade Iovine" podcast that she's currently feeling "total honeymoon vibes" (via Entertainment Tonight).
Stefani revealed that she was extremely happy with how the couple's big day panned out. "It was literally the greatest moment ... one of the greatest moments of my life, obviously," she gushed, adding, "It was beyond what I thought it was gonna be."
The "Cool" hitmaker went on to explain how her "spiritual journey" is what "guided" her towards her life with Shelton. "I just feel so lucky. One of those things that you think about a lot in your life, is you don't know the future and you don't know what's gonna happen ... Now I need to figure out how to do the rest of my life," she added.
The couple have yet to make any honeymoon plans
Speaking on the podcast, Stefani went on to discuss her relationship with Blake, revealing that success hasn't changed him as a person. "The successful people are the people that are the genuine people because that man is the same guy you see," she explained (via E! News). She added, "He's the same guy. He's just a good guy — he's very real and consistent and genuine. It's what is so attractive and why people love him so much"
As Page Six reported, Blake and Gwen got married in early July 2021 during an intimate ceremony at Shelton's Oklahoma ranch. The pair walked down the aisle after six years of dating and after becoming engaged in late 2020.
Despite feeling "honeymoon vibes," the couple are yet to jet off on their actual honeymoon. Speaking to E! News, a source revealed that both Stefani and Shelton headed back to Los Angeles following the ceremony due to forthcoming work commitments. "Not a lot has changed other than calling each other husband and wife. They are just extremely happy and excited about finally being married," the insider revealed.
