When will Season 14 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta premiere?

It has been too long since these Housewives were on our screens, and we are ready for them to return! New seasons of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" are usually announced in September or October, followed by a premiere in November. Last season started in December, due to being delayed by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic (via Bustle).

Filming for this upcoming season started earlier this summer, according to Screen Rant. However, production has hit a snag and is struggling to finalize the cast. As stated by Radar, Season 13 led to the lowest ratings ever for "RHOA," so the showrunners wanted to shake up the casting. While this, ultimately, should lead to more drama, which makes for good TV, it has caused a delay in filming.

Still, the ATL ladies are expected to return to our screens later this year, meaning fans may get the November start date that they have come to expect (via Showbiz Cheat Sheet).

Who will be on the new season of RHOA?

Cynthia Bailey has talked about how she doesn't know if she will come back or not. Porsha Williams, who recently got engaged to Simon Guobadia (who was married to Falynn Guobadia, a friend of Williams', with appearances last season), has been busy filming a spin-off series (via Showbiz Cheat Sheet), and rumors out there state that ShereƩ Whitfield could be returning.

Marlo Hampton has been a friend on the show since Season 4, and she is ready for an upgrade. "I've been around too long for you guys not to really come into this house, see when I'm crying, see when I'm sad, hear me talk to [my adopted nephews'] mom ... Just really get to know who is Marlo besides the story people are taking and just painting for you," she stated. "You don't really get to see me within an hour show that's edited, and I'm not a peach-holder. You don't get to, it's so much more of me to know," (via Entertainment Tonight).

Love B. Scott reports that showrunners want seven cast members on "RHOA" and are looking for women with husbands/significant others. The website also wrote that Drew Sidora would probably not be back (but has been filming with Williams on her spin-off), nor will LaToya Ali. Fans can expect to see Kandi Burruss and Kenya Moore ... though anything can happen!

How did Season 13 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta end?

Season 13 of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" ran from December 6, 2020 to April 18, 2021, with the three parts of the reunion airing on April 25, May 2, and May 9. As mentioned, this premiere date was a little later than usual, and production shut down in November after a positive case of COVID-19.

"People don't realize how hard it was to film during COVID," Kandi Burruss told Entertainment Tonight. "Normally we have a lot of events where we invite a lot of friends, do a lot of stuff like that. We weren't allowed to do any of that this year ... And it took a long time before the season actually got jumped off, because we didn't really know who was going to be a part of the new season. This was a different type of year, so don't be so judgmental."

When the reunion finally rolled around, the women dressed like they were heading back to the dungeon with Bolo. They talked about how they gained weight during quarantine. And there were arguments, of course, specifically between Kenya Moore and Porsha Williams and Moore and Drew Sidora.

Whenever Season 14 arrives and whoever is starring on it, it is sure to deliver the drama fans know and love!
