Of course, many of the exact products used by the former First Lady are no longer made, but with Lamas' range, you can at least get as close as possible to her beauty routine. According to Lamas' website, Erno Laszlo Repair Cream was one of her favorite products, and you can still get it today — it's from Hungary however, so if you want something a little closer to home, QVC is your ideal port of call.

The products are all $60 or less

At QVC, the range of Peter Lamas products is certainly sizable and incorporates all sorts. Prices range from $24 to $60, and products include various shampoos and conditioners, hand creams, facial cleansers and scrubs, and an overnight age-defying facial treatment, so you might find just the right product for you. After all, if Lamas has been good enough for so many famous fashion icons, his products must be well worth their salt, right?

Lamas, originally from Cuba, moved to the US in 1960 with his parents and got his career off the ground a few years later under Vidal Sassoon. Eventually, he progressed to cutting hair himself and was then asked by Liza Minnelli to make up her mother — the late Judy Garland — for viewing. Of course, he looked after Jackie Kennedy too, and took care of her hair for 16 years, from 1969 to 1985. "She became a legend in this country," he told the Las Vegas Sun of the former first lady. "I was very impressed with her sophistication and intelligence."
