What We Know About Donald Glover's Partner, Michelle White

Donald Glover has made a name for himself in Hollywood as an actor, writer, musician, comedian, producer, and director. As noted by Biography, he launched his career as a writer on Tina Fey's sitcom "30 Rock" before leaving the show to join the cast of "Community." He then went on to become the creator, writer, producer, and star of the critically-acclaimed series "Atlanta." The show earned two Golden Globes and a Peabody, with Glover also winning two Emmys for his work. When not acting, he releases music under the name Childish Gambino and has a few Grammys under his belt.

While the actor has no problem sharing his work with the public, he has kept his personal life out of the spotlight. The first time it was revealed that he was even in a relationship was after Glover and girlfriend Michelle White welcomed their first child, son Legend, in 2016. The couple had their second son, Drake, in 2018, and their youngest child, Donald, sometime in the spring of 2020, per the Daily Mail. In a GQ interview with Michaela Coel, Glover even revealed that he and White were considering adding to their family through adoption. " And we actually have been talking about [it], because we have three boys so I'm like, 'Oh, it might be nice to be get a girl in there,'" he said.

But what is actually known about the woman Glover shares his life with?

Donald Glover's girlfriend stays out of the public eye

Donald Glover's girlfriend and mother of his three sons, Michelle White, stays as far away from the limelight as possible. As noted by Hollywood Life, she is reportedly a few years younger than Glover and Asian American. However, not much else is known about White, including when she and Glover got together and if they're married or not. While Glover has said he doesn't like the idea of marriage, he has referred to White as his wife. One thing is certain, though: Glover has no problem publicly gushing over his love in public. "I want to thank Michelle, my partner," he said during his acceptance speech at the 2017 Emmys. "You love me even with how crazy I get" (via Hollywood Life).

And he admits that when it comes to raising their three boys, White is doing a lot of the heavy lifting. "I think my partner, she does all the hard stuff, to be honest," he told People. "She's just very supportive. I haven't really had to change anything. But it's given me definitely another perception on what life is. It gives me a lot of context."
