The Sad Reason Kenya Moore's Daughter Had To Have Security

Fans of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" will be more than familiar with the drama-filled antics of Kenya Moore. However, it appears the "RHOA" drama has also spilt into the reality star's life off-screen.

According to Radar Online, Moore's ex-husband, Marc Daily, previously claimed that the couple's young daughter Brooklyn had received threats from fans of the Bravo hit following her appearance on the show. Per court documents obtained by the outlet, Daily made the claims as part of a court battle with Moore, which began following her decision to file for divorce back in May 2021 after four years of marriage (via People). Before filing for divorce from Daily, Moore also filed a custody case demanding primary custody of Brooklyn, which she was later awarded by a judge in June 2021.

The judge also stated in court that Moore was allowed to feature the couple's daughter on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" without seeking Daily's permission, something he had previously objected to due to alleged social media threats.

Marc Daily Claimed threats had been made against the couple's daughter

According to Radar Online, Marc Daily previously claimed in court documents that his relationship with Kenya Moore had "received a lot of media attention due to the Plaintiff detailing their private issues on the reality television show she is filming." In the documents, Daily went on to claim that their daughter Brooklyn had "received threats on social media platforms that feature her, and the Defendant is concerned that additional exposure may result in more threats."

As reported by the outlet, Daily also noted that he himself had also "received an increase of threats of physical harm," revealing that he was forced to hire security for protection. He also claimed that media coverage surrounding his divorce from Moore had damaged his business and brought on a "dramatic drop in revenue due to the negative press."

As People reported, Moore and Daily tied the knot in June 2017. One year later, in November 2018, the pair welcomed their daughter Brooklyn. However, after just two years of marriage, the pair split for the first time in 2019. In May 2021, Moore filed for divorce from Daily, describing her marriage as "irretrievably broken."
