What We Know About Reba McEntire's Relationship With Rex Linn

Country music superstar Reba McEntire is going strong with her boyfriend, "CSI Miami" actor Rex Linn. She confirmed her romance with Linn in October 2020. However, the "Fancy" singer has been dating him "longer than anyone knows," a source previously told Closer Weekly. "They started hanging out in January and it didn't take long for their friendship to blossom into a romance. Rex came into her life at just the right time."

Before falling head over heels for Linn, McEntire was married twice. She wed her first husband, Charlie Battles, in 1976, but the two called it quits in 1987. Two years later, in 1989, she walked down the aisle with Narvel Blackstock. The couple ended their long marriage in 2015.

Although McEntire has plenty of experience in the romance department, sources claim that things are different with Linn. "Reba can't remember feeling so strongly about a man," the source said. "She is absolutely smitten by Rex and thinks he's just fabulous and such a sweetheart. She describes him as a breath of fresh air and gets butterflies whenever she hears his voice."

Recently, Reba McEntire gushed over her beau, Rex Linn, during a television appearance.

Reba McEntire opened up about her new man, Rex Linn

People reports that Reba McEntire appeared on the "Today" show on Oct. 14, 2021, and spoke candidly about her romance with actor Rex Linn. "Rex and I have known each other since '91 when we were in The Gambler movie together with Kenny Rogers and then have known each other, kept in contact," the singer said.

McEntire went on to reveal that Linn was there to offer support when her mother got sick and eventually passed away from cancer last year. "And then in 2020 when Mama got sick, he called me," she said. "We'd gotten to see each other before because we're both on 'Young Sheldon.' So starting in March of 2020, we just kept talking and visiting and finally got together, see each other in June. And we've been pretty much inseparable ever since."

Of course, this isn't the first time that McEntire has gushed over Linn. In October 2020, she admitted that she loved sharing her life with him. "It's good to have a person to talk to, laugh with, get into subjects about what's going on," she said. "Discussions about our past, our family, funny stories, him being an actor, me being an actress. And he's very into my music. I'm very into his career."
