The Heartbreaking Death Of TikTok And YouTube Star Huey Haha

On October 25, 2021, Huey Haha died. Known for comedy sketches on TikTok and YouTube, this viral internet star, whose real name was Huey Ha, is survived by his girlfriend, Heather Saizon, as stated by Meaww, and their two-year-old daughter, Princess Ha (via New York Post). The cause of his death has not been officially released yet. 

The news was shared to his Instagram account on Wednesday, along with a GoFundMe link, in order to raise money for the funeral and his daughter. "He loved and appreciated every single one of his supporters," the post read. Condolences were typed out by fans, such as "You made a huge impact while you were here" and "Thank you for shining more love, light, and laughter into the world. You will be missed."

At the time of his passing, Ha was 22. According to the New York Post, he lived in Stockton, California, and he was of Vietnamese heritage.

Speculations about Huey Ha's death first appeared on Twitter on Wednesday. "Rest in Paradise to this young, creative, and amazingly talented star. You will be missed," wrote one user. "You have no idea how much you made me laugh," said another.

While the cause of death has not been released yet, there are some rumors. MEAWW says that it appeared to be a suicide, while US day News reports that he could have been involved in a shooting in Sacramento.

Ha rose in popularity online a couple of years ago, earning around 450,000 subscribers on YouTube, over 200,000 followers on Instagram, and 4.5 million views on TikTok (via New York Post). A post sharing the news of his passing was shared to Instagram. Before that, he had posted a photo of himself on October 7, and on September 4, he added a picture of him and his daughter, writing "wish I could be better for you."
