How Kristin Cavallari's Kids Feel About Her Reality TV Shows

Kristin Cavallari has been a reality television star since 2004, when she first appeared on MTV's "Laguna Beach" as a teenager. During her time on the show, Cavallari feuded with Lauren Conrad over their mutual love interest, Stephen Colletti, and generally dealt with adolescent troubles ranging from friendship issues to deciding what to do after graduating high school, according to Cheat Sheet. The Uncommon James founder was an instant fan-favorite, and she was propelled to further popularity on "The Hills" when she appeared on the show between 2009-2010 (per TV Insider).

While several of Cavallari's castmates decided to leave the drama of reality television behind them, Cavallari struck up a deal for her own show, "Very Cavallari," which ran from 2018 to 2020 on E! (via IMDb). The show followed Cavallari's life in Nashville alongside her then husband, Jay Cutler. The couple's three children, Camden, Jaxon, and Saylor, didn't appear on the show because Cavallari thought it was best to focus on her professional life in lieu of focusing on her family (via People Magazine).

Even though Cavallari's kids didn't appear on her series, they're apparently aware that their mother is a famous reality television star. But how do Kristin Cavallari's kids feel about her reality TV shows?

Kristin Cavallari says her kids don't watch her reality TV shows

During an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, Kristin Cavallari revealed that her three children, whom she shares with ex-husband Jay Cutler, don't watch her reality television shows. She stated that her kids know she's been on "multiple shows," and that Cutler previously showed their children a few minutes of the series last year. "I think MTV played 'Laguna Beach' and 'The Hills' maybe two summers ago," Cavallari recalled. "I can't remember exactly. They have seen, like, a couple of minutes, but they're not like, 'Hey, when do we get to watch your shows?'"

Cavallari's children with Cutler are still quite young, so perhaps their interest in viewing the shows will grow over time. For now though, Cavallari said "They [don't get] that they can sit down and watch a TV show with me on it." The "Laguna Beach" alum revealed that the kids do enjoy watching when she hosts awards shows, particularly when she gives them an on-air shoutout.

And how did Cavallari react when Cutler showed their children a few minutes of her teenage years on "Laguna Beach" a few summers ago? " ... I, of course, was cringing the whole time," she said.
