This Detail Reveals How Much The Queen Trusts Kate Middleton

Queen Elizabeth is said to have full faith in Kate Middleton as a member of the royal family. Sources tell Us Weekly that the queen isn't worried about the future of the monarchy as she knows Kate will be by Prince William's side when the time comes for him to be king.

"Over time, Kate has proved to Elizabeth that she can be trusted and they've developed a great relationship," an insider told the outlet. "Elizabeth feels confident that Kate will make a great queen."

The source went on to reveal that Kate has become very comfortable with her place in the family and the royal lifestyle over the years. "During the early days as a royal, being around Elizabeth made her nervous. She was so desperate to impress."

However, now Kate is said to be "fearless" when it comes to things such as public speaking and royal protocol. While the insider says that Kate is "slightly nervous" about eventually being named queen consort when William ascends to the throne, she's reportedly ready for the challenge. Kate and William have allegedly been speaking with Elizabeth about their future roles, and she's said to feel "confident that they cross all the boxes to rule."

Elizabeth's trust in Kate seems to go deep, and her latest actions prove it.

Kate Middleton steps out in Queen Elizabeth's earrings

According to Express, Prince William and Kate Middleton recently stepped out to attend the Together At Christmas community carol service at Westminster Abbey. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were dressed to impress for the event as Kate — who was joined by her parents, Carole and Michael, as well as her brother and sister, James and Pippa — looked stunning in a red coat dress by Catherine Walker.

Complementing her red ensemble was a pair of sapphire and diamond earrings that were said to be lent to her by none other than Queen Elizabeth herself. Now, royal enthusiasts claim that the earrings are a sure sign that Kate has earned Elizabeth's utmost trust and respect.

However, this isn't the first time that the queen has proven she trusts her granddaughter-in-law. The Cambridges also recently attended the Remembrance Sunday event in the queen's Bentley. Royal expert Daniela Elser claims that the pair's use of Elizabeth's personal vehicle is a major sign that she approves of William and Kate as esteemed members of the royal family. That vehicle will also become William and Kate's to use at their whim when William is eventually crowned king.

Royal commentator Antonio Caprarica revealed that he believes the duchess is helping to save the monarchy. "I said before, the dynasty has been saved by the women and the next savior will be Kate," he said.
