Christina Aguilera Listed This As One Of Her Most Questionable Fashion Choices

The turn of the millennium may have occurred more than two decades ago, but it seems the fashion stylings of Christina Aguilera are making somewhat of a comeback. As InStyle notes, stars of today like Hailey Bieber, Dua Lipa, Kendall Jenner, and Doja Cat are bringing some of the singer's "Dirrty" style back, including cutout chaps, butterfly halter tops, and thin straps.

Aguilera herself is very nostalgic about the era, taking pride in the outfits and overall looks she championed over the course of her early career. This is especially true for her appearance in the "Lady Marmalade" music video for "Moulin Rogue" (via YouTube), which saw the star in a satin corset with over the top make-up and hair (via i-D). "I love to play dress up," Aguilera told W Magazine (via YouTube) while recalling fashion moments from her music videos. "I was a whole bunch of extra," she added.

However, the Grammy Award-winner does have some fashion regrets.

Christina Aguilera revealed the red carpet look she regrets

If there was one outfit Christina Aguilera questioned wearing, it was the dress she chose to don the 2001 Blockbuster Awards red carpet with. When asked by Marie Claire which style moment she regrets the most, this velvet number immediately came to mind.

"There are things I would never wear again, but I wouldn't take them back," Aguilera explained. "I'd probably stay away from that burgundy dress with the amazing, crazy cotton-candy hair." Even though she isn't a fan of the dress now, the singer doesn't completely regret the choice. "If I were to do it again today, I would keep the hair and lose the dress!" she exclaimed.

People magazine referred to the dress in question as the ultimate "Moulin Rogue" moment, and while Aguilera isn't a fan of the dress any longer, that particular night proved to be a fruitful one for the singer as she took home the award for Favourite Female Artist, given to her by "The Green Mile"s Michael Clarke (via Entertainment Weekly).
