Adwoa Aboah's Strawberry Blonde Look That Fans Envy

Since signing to Storm Model Management when she was 16 years old, British model Adwoa Aboah has become one of the most familiar faces in fashion, not to mention one of the most beautiful models in the world.  Over a decade later, Aboah has featured in global campaigns for fashion brands such as Dior, Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, and H&M (via Business of Fashion), and has also modeled some of the latest designs for the likes of Chanel, Fendi, and Versace on the runway and dozens of major front covers, including Dazed and British Vogue.

So it's no surprise that Aboah has become a go-to for the latest fashion trends, but it's not just limited to her clothes. Her short hairstyle quite literally changed Aboah's life, as explained in a personal essay she wrote for Teen Vogue. "After many years of hating my hair, I finally felt no attachment to it," she wrote, referring to when she shaved her hair for the first time. "I was empowered," Aboah wrote, adding that she feels "very comfortable" and no longer panics "about looking different."

Even with a shaved head, she's been able to experiment with different colors that leave fans envious.

One color that fans of Adwoa Aboah have come to envy in particular is a shade of strawberry blonde. Byrdie specifically notes the model's appearance at the 2016 Business of Fashion Gala dinner in London where she sported a beautifully light strawberry blonde matched with equally blonde eyebrows and a red lip.

Obviously, Aboah's look has changed drastically since then. In the years since she rocked the strawberry blonde almost buzzcut, she has grown her hair out. It's still short (via Instagram), but Aboah styles it in numerous ways including cornrows (via Instagram). The model has returned to a darker color but has experimented with other colors over the years including a more fiery auburn look as her hair was growing out from being shaved (via Instagram).

Whatever the color, as Harper's Bazaar notes, each hairstyle that Aboah has sported since shaving her hair for the first time has given her the opportunity to show off her "enviable earring collection," as evidenced by Byrdie.
