David & Annie Toborowsky's Unique Idea For A New 90 Day Show - Exclusive

David and Annie Toborowsky are all but reality television royalty at this point, and their empire has now expanded. The two first introduced themselves to the world on TLC's "90 Day Fiancé," since appearing on its spinoffs, including "Pillow Talk." Now, they're back with a brand new spinoff series all their own. Titled "David & Annie: After the 90 Days," the new series follows the couple as they travel to Thailand to bring two of Annie's family members back to America for better school and career opportunities as they grow up.

We at The List were fortunate enough to chat with David and Annie about their new series, and they told us not only about how filming "After the 90 Days" was different from "90 Day Fiancé," but also how COVID-19 impacted the series' production, how Annie's fashion line formed, and, interestingly, their new ideas for a "90 Day" spinoff series. (Hint: It's akin to another popular reality series).

David and Annie's plan would combine 90 Day Fiancé with The Amazing Race

Reality television is diverse in its structures. Some series sequester you in a house alone with strangers to compete for a grand prize; others see you marrying someone before you even know them. However, neither of these are preferred viewing for David and Annie Toborowsky, with whom we recently had the pleasure of chatting. When talking with these two reality stars, they revealed that Annie loves "Naked and Afraid" and would even want to be on it, but David also offered a pitch for a new reality series.

"I would love [to be on] 'The Amazing Race' because of travel," David, who's traveled across the world and lived abroad for years at a time, told us. "I'd like to create our own Discovery version of it. The '90 Day' couples going, finding stuff from other people's country. There. That I would love to see."

"90 Day Fiancé" has been on the air since 2014 and has introduced many couples to the world — enough that a series like this just might work. As for possible missions, Annie offered, "We would have to find Jenny and Sumit," while David added, "Yeah, we got to find Jenny and Sumit. A clue: 'Where is Sumit's ex-wife from?'"

An idea like this could enrapture audiences around the world, and while said in jest, could prove really fun if it happened. So, would you watch a series that combines the best elements of "90 Day Fiancé" and "The Amazing Race?"

You can catch David and Annie on TLC's "David & Annie: After the 90 Days" every Monday at 9 p.m. ET.
