Madelyn Cline Opens Up About Her Future On Outer Banks

If there's one Netflix show that's earned its spot as an instant binge-watch from its very first season, it's "Outer Banks." There's just something about these sun-kissed teenagers barely escaping arrest or death while running around their coastal town that hooks people from day one. Ok, fine, that something is its compelling main characters, John B and Sarah Cameron.

While the suspenseful exciting storylines of "Outer Banks" are guaranteed to have you on the edge of your seat in a trance of "okay, just one more episode," it is ultimately the love connection between John B and Sarah Cameron that most fans are here for. Things got even more riveting when the actors who play them, Chase Stokes and Madelyn Cline, decided to pursue a relationship in real life as well. Seemingly overnight, everyone was shipping Hollywood's new favorite couple.

Alas, life always has a way of imitating art and just as fans were heartbroken over the demise of the "Outer Banks" couple in Season 2, Stokes and Cline ended their real-life relationship too. The drama-filled breakup had fans questioning if Cline would return for a third season of the show, and she's finally addressing it.

Madelyn Cline confirms she will not be leaving Outer Banks

There's nothing quite like mourning the breakup of your favorite on-screen couple unless, of course, it's mourning a real-life celebrity couple breakup. Well, the "Outer Banks" duo Madelyn Cline and Chase Stokes decided to hit fans with a double whammy. Cline and Stokes' breakup has played out rather messily in the public eye. While it took a while for fans to even realize that the pair had ended things, once it became clear things got very public courtesy of numerous tabloids of Stokes seen making out with various women.

While according to E! News, the pair seemed amicable post-breakup and even spent some time together during Thanksgiving, fans still suspected that the breakup would lead to model Cline's departure from the show.

Cline addressed the rumors in a recent Instagram Story (via Cosmopolitan) in which she posted, "I will come back for as many seasons as they will have me. I love my job and there's not a day that goes by that I'm not grateful for it and for everyone who has watched it. Not everything you read on the internet is true."
