Real Housewives Who Have Made Appearances On Days Of Our Lives
"Days of Our Lives" has been on television for nearly 60 years. The NBC soap opera has become a staple of daytime television, and many actors and actresses have come and gone through the fictional town of Salem (via People). Some of those actors have even gone on to become big stars. Actors such as "Supernatural" star Jensen Ackles, "That 70s Show" actress Mila Kunis, and "Baywatch" beauty Pamela Anderson have all landed roles on "DOOL" in the past.
In addition, "Wheel of Fortune” host Pat Sajack also appeared on the sudser, as well as Tara Reid, Vivica A. Fox, LeAn Rimes, Ashley Benson, Andrewa Barber, and so many more. However, a couple "Days of Our Lives" stars have also gone on to cultivate careers as reality television stars, and fans have tuned in to watch them week after week as they share their lavish lives with the cameras on the Bravo series "The Real Housewives."
Lisa Rinna starred on DOOL as Billie Reed
"Days of Our Lives" is known for finding some great, talented actors to portray characters on the show, and that's exactly what they did with Lisa Rinna. Rinna debuted on "DOOL" in 1992 in the role of Billie Reed, and quickly became a favorite among fans after entering into a relationship with the iconic soap character, Bo Brady.
In 2021, Rinna returned to reprise the role of Billie for the soap's spin-off series "Beyond Salem," which streamed on the Peacock app. "I hold a special place in my heart for Billie Reed, and I love her probably — I'm closer to her than any character I've ever played, and it's always fun to go back and revisit her," Rinna told The Today Show at the time.
After deciding to leave "DOOL" as a full-time cast member, Rinna eventually went on to join "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" (via Bravo) where she interacts with her co-stars and shares details of her life with her family. The show ultimately became a massive reality TV hit.

However, Lisa Rinna's not the only "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star to have appeared on "Days of Our Lives." Actress Eileen Davidson also has strong ties to "DOOL." Davidson first appeared on the soap in 1993 (via Soap Central) as Kristen DiMera. Unlike Billie, Kristen was a Salem bad girl who seemed to cause trouble everywhere she went, and as the adopted daughter of Salem's biggest villain Stefano DiMera, there was no end to her schemes. Davidson appeared as Kristen off and on over the years, and recently returned for another go at the character in the "Beyond Salem" spin-off. Elsewhere, she's also known for her role as Ashley Abbott on "The Young and the Restless" (via Bravo).
Meanwhile, Rinna and Davidson's "RHOBH" co-star Kyle Richards has also appeared on the show, per Glamour. In 2013, she made a quick cameo on the soap as an agent trying to convince the character of Gabi Hernandez to sign with her company. Nowadays, it seems that "The Real Housewives" has a connection to "DOOL," and fans seem to be here for it.
