What We Know About Mama June's Latest Relationship Drama

June Shannon, aka Mama June, is best known by reality TV fans for her appearances on shows like "Toddlers & Tiaras" and "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo." Fans who have followed Shannon's life on-screen will be well aware of her rocky love life. According to Page Six, the reality star alleged that her ex-boyfriend, known as Sugar Bear, was physically and emotionally abusive during their relationship.

Furthermore, another of Shannon's ex-boyfriends, Mark McDaniel, was previously indicted for child molestation, aggravated child molestation, and aggravated sexual battery, per Radar Online, and allegedly assaulted Shannon's daughter, Anna Cardwell, when she was a child. 

According to The Sun, Shannon and another ex-boyfriend, Geno Doak, were both arrested in 2019 for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, among other charges. Now, Mama June has revealed her latest relationship drama with current boyfriend, Justin Stroud, who, like her previous lovers, has had a run-in with the law.

A warrant was issued for Justin Stroud's arrest in 2021

As per The Sun, a warrant had been issued for Justin Stroud's arrest in October 2021, after he violated his probation on previous charges. In the months following, Mama June and her boyfriend traveled to locations including Los Angeles and Georgia, and Stroud was even spotted in Las Vegas. In February 2022, the couple attended a party in Boca Raton, Florida, where Stroud was eventually caught and arrested.

In a Facebook post shared on February 22, 2022, June Shannon said she had experienced a "rough two weeks," and asked her friends and followers to "pray today it will all be better in the world." The reality star continued, "I know God has us and that he will see us through anything, even though it may seem like things are rough at times. Just remember God always has us."

According to In Touch Weekly, Stroud, Shannon's first boyfriend since her breakup with Geno Doak, works as a tattoo artist and an auto mechanic. He is being held as an out-of-state fugitive at the county jail, where, according to The Sun, he will stay, pending an extradition hearing.
