Has Kim Kardashian's Friendship With Ariana Grande Changed Since She Started Dating Her Ex?

Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande were one of the most surprising celebrity couples of their time. The pair had a whirlwind romance in 2018 and became engaged just weeks after they began dating (via Cosmopolitan). The couple spent a few months dominating the headlines before they opted to call it quits in October of that year. Davidson was romantically linked to multiple famous women following his breakup with Grande. The "Saturday Night Live" star reportedly dated actresses Kate Beckinsale and Margaret Qualley, Cindy Crawford's model daughter Kai Gerber, and "Bridgerton" star Phoebe Dynevor (via Page Six).

Then, in fall 2021, Davidson stunned fans when he stepped out with the newly single Kim Kardashian. In March 2022, the couple went official on Instagram, per BuzzFeed. As Kardashian and Davidson's relationship grew to new levels, some fans couldn't help but wonder if their romance had impacted the Kardashian family's friendship with Grande, as the family has been close with the "God is a Woman" singer in the past. Kardashian's mother, Kris Jenner, even appeared in Grande's video for "Thank U, Next" (via Harper's Bazaar).

Now, it seems that the women are revealing the status of their friendship amid Kardashian and Davidson's growing relationship.

Kim Kardashian and Ariana Grande's friendship status revealed

According to Us Weekly, Kim Kardashian's friendship with singer Ariana Grande has not been rocked by Kardashian dating Grande's former fiancé, Pete Davidson. Earlier this month, Grande proved that there's not bad blood between she and the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star when she sent Kardashian a package full of goodies from her new r.e.m. beauty launch.

"Just because Kim is now dating Ariana's ex, Pete, it hasn't changed their friendship," an insider told the outlet. "They adore each other and support each other's brands." The source went on to say that Kardashian and Grande have been friends "for the past few years" and that "whenever they're at the same event, they make sure to say hi to each other."

Meanwhile, it seems that Grande has completely moved on from her romance with Davidson. The "Dangerous Woman" singer is now married to Dalton Gomez. The two began dating in early 2020 and walked down the aisle in May 2021, when they held an intimate ceremony at the singer's home, per Vogue. "Ariana has completely moved on from Pete," the source continued to tell Us Weekly. "What they had was in the past. If anything, Ariana would be cheering on Pete and Kim's relationship since she ultimately wants Kim to find happiness too."

It appears that all is well when it comes to Kardashian and Grande's sweet friendship.
