Naomi And Wynonna Judd Make The CMT Music Award Red Carpet A Glamorous Family Affair

Country royalty The Judds transformed the 2022 CMT Music Awards' pink carpet into their personal runway. Naomi and Wynonna Judd manifested their personalities into two distinct outfits for the night — Naomi in a dramatic, hot pink gown and Wynonna in her sleek, all-black blazer and pants. Yahoo! Life celebrated their attention to detail, including Naomi's sparkling heels and Wynonna's peekaboo lace sleeves. They accessorized their bold looks with big smiles and even bigger hair.

The Judds' awards outfits weren't the only thing people tuned in for either. The iconic mother-daughter duo haven't performed together since their 2015 Las Vegas residency, per Taste of Country, but finally reunited on country's luckiest night for a magical performance. In early April 2022, the CMT Music Awards teased their performance of their smash single "Love Can Build a Bridge." Now that it is here, it more than lived up to the hype.

The Judds deserve all of the awards after their electric performance

If there were awards tonight for the queens of country music and great hair, The Judds would be their rightful recipients. Naomi and Wynonna Judd's highly anticipated performance had fans feeling emotional and nostalgic over on Twitter. One user tweeted that they were in tears watching the legendary performance. Another user jokingly tweeted they won the night, writing, "CMT should just give the rest of the awards to that performance by The Judds and call it a night."

This was a monumental moment for fans as it was The Judds' first televised performance in 20 years, as presenter Kacey Musgraves pointed out. Their expert harmonizing, contrasting stage looks, and overall presence were larger than life.

Billboard reports that The Judds are also touring together for a final time. The tour's run will be from September 30 to October 28, 2022 and feature country legend Martina McBride for some of the shows as well. If tonight's performance is any indication of their upcoming tour, it'll be a packed house.
