Everyone who watched Clayton Echard's controversial season of "The Bachelor" probably remembers Gabby Windey. With 450,000 followers and counting on Instagram, it's safe to say that the self-proclaimed "Dingbat" was a fan favorite from the reality TV dating show. Given her popularity on social media and likable, humorous personality that countless viewers fell in love with when watching her on-screen, it's no surprise that her journey in Bachelor Nation isn't over after her time on "The Bachelor."

Windey's fans were delighted to learn that after gracing "The Bachelor" with her presence, she's moved on to be a star of "The Bachelorette," along with her "Bachelor" bestie Rachel Recchia. Many fans of "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" were blown away by Windey's beauty and hairstyle, but the untold truth of Windey is that she used a simple routine for her hair on the reality show. You may even be surprised by how effortless that routine turns out to be, as you can do it yourself at home.

Gabby's updo routine

Gabby Windey is so beloved among Bachelor Nation that she has an impressive TikTok following of more than 23,000 followers. She excited her fans by posting a tutorial video explaining how viewers can style their hair as she does for a "group date."

In this tutorial, the reality TV personality started with straight hair and had some of it pulled back as she wrapped a section of hair around the curling iron. Windey instructed in text on the screen, "Curl away from the face. Half way first, hold for a few seconds, then all the way," while she curled her hair and noted that she typically adds hairspray to this look. She also explained that you should take larger pieces of hair toward the bottom and smaller sections when curling higher up and rock a middle part. Next, she let the pulled back pieces of her hair down and curled those sections, too.

Windey noted that her hair is now longer and less layered than it was on "The Bachelor," so it won't look exactly like it did on-screen, despite following the same steps. She used a bristle brush to tease her curled hair and loosely pulled most of it back with a claw lip, leaving a couple of curls in front of her hair. Not only was her video helpful, but she was so funny and genuine throughout the whole tutorial!

Use these products when recreating her look

According to Gabby Windey's TikTok video, she used a 1.5-inch curling iron by Hot Tools for creating her curls in the tutorial. So, where can you purchase this product? Luckily for you, many retailers sell this item for surprisingly low prices. For instance, you can buy it on Amazon for around $35, which seems like a small price to pay to get your hair looking like a beloved star of Bachelor Nation. It's also available at Bed Bath & Beyond for around $42 and at Target for about $45. Plus, you can buy it from Ulta for just below $55, where it has an impressive rating of 4 out of 5 stars, or from Asos for a low price of $36.

The reality TV star also used a bristle teasing brush to add volume. She said you can get this type of brush from "any drug store," but if you want one that you know will work well, Allure rounded up some of their favorites. For instance, one of their top picks is the Black Egg Boar Bristle Brush, which you can buy on Amazon for around $13.

Lastly, Windey used a claw clip by Kristen Ess that she said she bought from Target. As the TV personality said, a Kristen Ess claw clip is available at Target; not only does it have 4 out of 5 stars, but it's selling for just below $10!
