Royals Every Cancer Can Relate To

Cancer star signs are those born between June 21 to July 22. Among some of the most well-known Cancers are singer Ariana Grande, reality TV star Khloé Kardashian, and actress Meryl Streep (via Insider). Cancer zodiacs prioritize love above all, especially their love for friends and family (via Allure). They are often the carers of a group and are extremely loyal to those in their lives. Cancers are also known for being empathetic, making them great listeners. However, this level of empathy can often affect their mental health. They additionally have a high level of emotional maturity.

As for negative traits, Cancers can be manipulative and controlling if they love someone to the extreme or want someone to love them. They can also be moody, clingy, and vengeful if they feel they have been wronged by someone (via Cosmopolitan). Overall, though, their unwavering loyalty makes them friends for life if you can deal with the ups and downs.

However, what you might not have known is that several royals fall under the Cancer zodiac as well.

Princess Diana is a much loved royal figure to this day

One of the most well-known and well-loved royals to this day is Princess Diana. Born on July 1 (via Britannica), Princess Diana was known for her charity work and down-to-earth persona. Despite the truths and the lies that surrounded her both during her life and after her tragic death, she coveted privacy above all. A need for privacy and to feel safe in your own home is a key Cancer trait (via Allure), which perhaps explains why Diana was so obsessed with it.

However, Diana was also known to be the life of the party, and has been described by her sons, William and Harry, as full of laughter (via BBC). Although it is often thought that Cancers hate going out, many love a night out with friends just having fun, like Diana did (via Grazia).

Interestingly, Camilla Parker-Bowles is also a Cancer, as she was born on July 17 (via Britannica). The subject of much speculation, her involvement in Prince Charles and Diana's highly-public divorce caused her to be dubbed Britain's "most hated woman" (via Daily Express). Nowadays, her efforts for charity and tour engagements have led many to discover the real truth about Camilla Parker-Bowles.

Prince William and his son are Cancers too

Just like his mother, Prince William is a Cancer. His birthday is June 21 (via Britannica). This date is the day that the Cancer zodiac starts, meaning he could very easily have been a Gemini. William has made a lot of appearances on royal tours and at other events alongside his wife, Kate Middleton, in the last few years, including the recent "Top Gun: Maverick" premiere in London. This is interesting, as, according to Horoscope, Cancers hate small talk and find large events overwhelming. Perhaps this is why Kate, who is a Capricorn (via Travel and Leisure) is almost always by his side. Capricorn and Cancer zodiacs actually make a great team, as they bring out the best in each other — Capricorn's strong nature positively contrasts with Cancer's sensitivity (via Bustle).

Carrying on both the royal and Cancer legacy is William's son and Diana's grandson, Prince George. He was born on July 22 (via The Guardian), making him a Cancer on the cusp like his father. As George is only young, there's no telling what he is like, though we've seen his cheeky side in the past when he stuck his tongue out at photographers (via Cosmopolitan.) With that attitude, he could definitely take after his grandmother.

With three current generations of Cancers, it seems that the crab zodiac sign runs deep in the royal family.
